I haven't been out west too much yet, but I've seen this almost exclusively the case on the east coast. success can be gained easily in America if you work hard and get a good education. some people here think that success and all the good jobs in the country are their birthright and entitlement because their ancestors where the hard working people that built the country, forgetting that things like skill and being the best is what gets you a job nowadays. but you can only ride on the success of generations back for so long, and those people will hate your success because in their eyes you don't deserve it. its affirmative action or whatever. all the other hard working white/black people in the country will not see things like that. also I've seen more black people in good meaningful jobs here than anywhere else. job wise, america really is the best place in the world. depending on how you are, nothing else may really matter.

in europe, women have been doing whatever the fuck they want to do there since the middle ages. there are pockets where girls just won't give you a chance, but for the most part if you can speak the local language you're in no matter what color you are. but european guys are extreme fucking haters, and everywhere you go you stick out. in a good way or bad way. there is no just blending in with a black man in europe. you always have to have your game face on. always taking part in some kind of sick play. its almost like, ok you're black now what? what do you guys do? also forget about a job. the euro guys who run the establishment are not trying to let your black american ass get anywhere near their level of success. but if you come in with money or status, it can transcend your race. euro guys recognize money, and they may hate you but they will respect your status. euro girls could give a fuck about money and status lol.

both places form sweeping opinions about people without actually talking to them. both places base first asumptions on skin color and clothing. both places have lots of open minded people who don't follow the flow of others.

anyway just my humble opinion again.

America is racist as hell but i still think there's a lot of opportunities here to date interracially. Everything you said in your post is true especially in those racist pockets of the country(such as the DMV). As you said it gets better for black dudes as they get out of the major cities. Also, you should def try the westcoast. From my brief time out there I can tell you it's better then the dc/md area.

I was at the right place at the right time for what I wsnted. life is long. you, him, me or anybody else can always go back to europe and pillage. that's hot. what's not hot is coming back Stateside when you're 50 and moving in with your mom cause you don't have shit but good memories about smashing euro chicks.

The DMV is mad racist, and the funny thing is that it's culturally not "Southern" at all. But at that point, parts of the South, specifically Hampton Roads, and parts of NC, FL, and TX are way less racist than the DMV/Mid Atlantic. Part of that racism is IMPORTED from pricks from the Northeast and Midwest, where many of DMVs transplants come from. I barely see any transplants from the Western states. I've never heard of a city (except for perhaps SF) that imports its racism. There is some racial integration in places like Loudoun, Prince William, Charles, as well as outside the beltway town in MoCo and Fairfax, but since a lot of racist transplants are moving to the suburbs once they have kids and a lot of lower-income trashy natives are pushed to the suburbs, I sadly see the days of a racially cordial MoCo and Fairfax gradually coming to an end.

But enough of my bitchin. To AmericanInEurope, you have to travel out West. Even in the most racist "East Coast carpetbagged" cities like San Francisco and Los Angeles, I've seen way more black men in interracial couples and families. And those cities pale in comparison to places like the East Bay Area, San Diego, Sacramento, Seattle, Las Vegas, Phoenix, Minneapolis, and Denver. Every night I was at the Gaslamp in San Diego, every other couple I saw was a black dude rubbing elbows with a white or Latina chick. I got way more numbers and hook-ups in the week I was there than I would get in months in the DMV. And it was the same case when I was in Long Beach. And as far as Seattle and Sac-Town, all you'll see are IR couples of all shades, especially in the Lake Washington and Elk Grove/Laguna neighborhoods, respectively.

I'd bet my annual salary that even places like Salt Lake City, Spokane, OKC, Houston, and San Antonio are even less racist than some of the "Big and Liberal" East Coast cities.

I'll also say this. These Western cities have way more opportunity for blacks to financially advance in meaningful jobs just for the fact that systematic racism isn't as much of a hold as it does in the East Coast, Midwest, and most of the South.

This is just my hypothesis, but I would think immigrants (of any origin) would have an easier time in the U.S. compared to Europe since in America, everybody can say you should go back to where you came from (America was founded by alien colonists), while in Europe, they can basically tell you to get off their land since it basically is their land.

I honestly think "racism", if there is such a thing, will become more prevalent in America and Europe. (Not sure who wins out at the moment.) The reason being, and this is as simple as it gets, diversity + proximity = war (another word for conflict).

So as America/Europe becomes ever more multi-racial and multi-cultural, tensions are only going to gradually increase between various groups.

I come from Southern California so my viewpoint may be a bit different.

For getting laid, Western Europe is 10x easier for a non-White male whether he be Asian or Brown or Black or Latin. I slept with 4 girls in a 2 week or so period along with enjoying the trip with my friends. This was in France.

Such an occurrence never happened to me in the US. Now when people think Southern Cal they think people here are ahead of the curve, boy such cannot be farther from the truth. I do notice I have little to no problems here being a Brown guy but I have dated girls who have turned down my Asian friends because my Asian friends were Asian. Yet these same Asian friends of mines were getting laid left to right in Sweden (they in fact did a lot better than I did).

In Southern Cal I have dated decent looking White women and THAT is what got me stares in some places. One guy at a restaurant yelled out "no good White men around!?". My Black friends have said the same thing about how when a White girl introduced them to her parents, all hell broke loose.

As for moving up economically and w/e, well ya the US wins but since we are talking about getting laid and stuff, here is how it works in the US from what I see it:

When a White man puts his finger on a woman of any race, the woman receives compliments and the White guy rarely receives any hate. When a non-White man dates an attractive White woman, people tend to stare and talk about it a lot.

I don't give a f*ck. I am gonna date the finest Black, Latin, Brunette, Redhead, Blonde, Asian, and mixed women every chance I get. Haters can suck it. But problem is there are gonna be a lot of haters, thank god it is becoming more and more common to see Latino dudes, Asian dudes, and Black dudes in So Cali rail fine looking White women, people have slowly started to see it as a norm.

The funny thing I've noticed is that during the times I'm walking around with an attractive white woman, it's Latinos who stare the hardest. In fact they just stare like crazy anytime I'm with any woman that's light skinned. I once was out with a light skinned Brazilian woman from the south of Brazil and Latinos were gazing. If the girl is blond, man do they really fucking stare. Sometimes I don't know if they're being haters or if they are just curious because they are interested in dating light skinned women themselves(as is common in Latin America) and it's just a naive curiosity to see a dark black man like me walking with a light skinned woman. I've also gotten some haters who were brothas. Making comments like "dayuuuum" out loud as we walked by. I'm not about to go getting in a fight over it, but it's just extra bullshit you have to put up with if I want to chill with any woman that's not black.

And also, when I see a black man walking with a fat ass ugly white/latin woman, I don't see ANYBODY staring at them. So it's totally a thing of thinking black men are not worthy of dating attractive white or Latin women. And just being haters.

I think this explains how I was able to get certain jobs in the UK. I was able to get through doors that my colleagues could not.
