The Mooch put the BBC reporter on the spot when she avoided answering his "Do you want a great trade deal?" question (around :45 mark). Her pussy probably got wet by being manhandled by an "I don't give a shit" Alpha. lol

What Scaramucci did right there was great. Throw the questions back at the "reporters". Turn the tables and call them on their bullshit. Insist that they answer. Turn it into a reverse interview and expose them for the hack political activists they are. Quit being on the defense, go on offense.

Dreams are like horses; they run wild on the earth. Catch one and ride it. Throw a leg over and ride it for all its worth.

RE: The Donald Trump thread
Skinny repeal of Obamacare is dead, courtesy of John "should-have-died-as-a-POW" McCain.

They loved him until he ran against Obama, then he was Hitler. Then he lost and they went back to patting him on the head, he was so much better than those Tea Partiers. Save a hiccup in 2012 (remember how indignant they got when he actually questioned Obama on Benghazi), he was their picture of how Republicans should act.

Then he got cancer and they loved him again. Then he voted for the procedural vote on this "skinny" Obamacare repeal, and he was Hitler again. Now he's the deciding vote that killed it, and my Facebook newsfeed is overjoyed and calling him a hero.

I fucking hate these people with every inch of my body.

Maybe it's just me but some of this Aussie humor flies right over my head. Whether it's Leonard, AB, or Paracelsus etc. a lot of it is very cerebral, dry as hell, and/or ultra-sarcastic. I feel like it's a lot of inside jokes or something. Or maybe I just don't have the necessary IQ to "get it". You guys definitely have your own style, I'll give you that.

But some of it comes off as very try-hard. Like you're trying to garner likes or something. Just say what you wanna say without all the cheeky references and simpsons gifs.

Anyway, back to Scaramucci Biggrin

Aussies have that tough guy swag (regardless of how soft they may actually be) and everyone knows it's harder to be funny and tough at the same time.

It's not worse than Canadian humor, so at least they have that going for them.

^ It's pretty simple, mate. Americans take the piss out of anyone they think is beneath them. Australians take the piss out of anyone they think thinks they're above them. You can see the inevitable culture clash.

Obligatory:

Nah, we're just ten years behind the culture curve, and out in the sticks we're ten years further behind that.

What are the cool American kids joking about these days. Bronies? I dunno.

Anyway, if anyone has some happy-pants or hypercolor t-shirts they want to send me I'd sure appreciate it. They're going to be coming in any second now.

This is the thing though. Trump, Bannon, Scaramucci, Donald Jr, and Assange are - functionally - acting like Aussie Shitposters. Bannons litany of insults towards Hillary are basically my mate Bill talking about 'The Lady Of The House'. It's not the right or left that are winning the culture war... it's the Aussies. Please, please, Trump, call McCain, McCunt before he croaks. Let your Inner Aussie out mate.

My Teenage Gamma Friend - the one whose prom date gave me a blowjob instead of him - thought Hypercolour was cooler than a Colette single.

I never got why it was supposed to be a good thing. "So you're drawing everyone's attention to your sweat stains?"

He's also the only guy I ever knew who wore Happy Pants... ...with K-Mart Grey Zip-Up Shoes. We could never talk him out of thinking this was a good thing. He'd say "I don't follow trends, I set them." No-one ever believed him.

His Dutch mother used to snort-laugh all through Gillian's Island. Fucker never stood a chance.

As desensitized as I am to so much of what is on the internet.
I'm not sure I'd really want to know what McCain & Graham have done behind closed doors.

If 'Eyes Wide Shut' was the version ready for public consumption. Reality must be much worse.

More winning!

The article references gun industry, but FDIC went after porn industry as well. Instapundit back then talked about "targeting businesses they don't like."

FDIC Ordered to Turn Over Documents in Operation Choke Point Lawsuit

Quote:District Court Judge Gladys Kessler told the government agency it had to begin working with the plaintiffs in the case for a nine-month discovery period beginning on June 20, 2017. "There is no justification whatsoever for not granting Plaintiffs' Motion to Commence Discovery Immediately," Judge Kessler said in her order.

...

"‘Operation Choke Point' is an Obama Administration initiative that encourages federal financial services regulators to harass and intimidate banks and financial institutions that work with firearm and ammunition retailers," the National Rifle Association said in February 2016. "By leaning on the banks, regulators hoped to bring an end to those relationships thereby choking off their cash flow and forcing them out of business. A 2015 Congressional Investigation revealed that ammunition and firearm sales and dealers had, in fact, been targeted."

I am afraid that women appreciate cruelty, downright cruelty, more than anything else. They have wonderfully primitive instincts. We have emancipated them, but they remain slaves looking for their masters all the same. They love being dominated.

A mere gimmick sure, yet one that became somewhat pervasive for a year or two.

Otherwise, as to any frequency of Australian commentary on U.S. politics?

Take it as a representation of just how boring & retarded our / Australian politics is... Confused
