My ghetto prepaid phone is a good prop
Roosh talks about having a prop to use to talk to girls. Mine is my net-10 Nokia cell phone. Hot girls invariably have an Iphone that's way cooler than my phone. So I'll ask them if buying an Iphone is worth it. And then I'll pull out my phone after talking about how I'm working with late 90s technology.

It's good way to keep a ramble going:

1. She tells me about the Iphone. She shows me pics she has saved. Or she shows me funny text message convos. This can lead to deeper rapport. Plus it gets you physically closer and it's a good opportunity to start touching her.

2. I tell her to put her number in my phone and she acts like she can't use this ancient techonology. It creates a playful dynamic. I let her neg me and then I'll lightly tease her about something.

If I ever feel the interaction stalling, I'll just take my phone out of my pocket. Either she will say something about it or I will. It's gold.

I like it. Laugh

It's also great contrary game, since guys are so insecure about the status their phone displays that they must have the latest model.

I love this. I've often considered trying to get an old cell phone hooked up with Verizon or something. I think the Zach Morris Phone would be going a little far, but something along these lines would look cool and would be a perfect prop and conversation starter--as you describe. I bet girls couldn't help but chuckle or asking about it just when they see it. Word on the street is that it's possible to get service:

This is pretty brilliant, especially because "Glued to the phone" is a status most girls are in, regardless of where they are or whats going on. It capitalizes on their bad behaviour

I have a Samsung Galaxy S that I use to open girls with phones.

My phone has a crappy battery life so I claim I'm looking for a new phone with a better battery life.

If they have a cool iphone or blackberry I grill them on it by asking a million questions(internet access, bbm, contracts, etc.)

If they have a shitty phone I'll usually say i'd rather have a shitty phone with a great battery. I usually question them about its toughness and ability to withstand drops. I've also mentioned that shitty phones are better in third world countries which is a good big bait.

My cousin swears by this. He is always using some borrowed old phone and changes his number everytime he loses it (week or two) He said girls open him by ranking or giggling at the phone and he has an excuse for sending the lamest messages.

He says it's pimp.

RE: My ghetto prepaid phone is a good prop
In Singapore, I don't get much miles with women whenever I use my Nokia N86 feature phone. It's not ghetto by any manner, but to them hotties here it is not as cool as the latest iPhone 4S or Samsung S2. And chicks used to smirk when they saw my Nokia feature phone. I used to hate this because I thought chicks shouldn't behave as shallow as this.

When I switched to iPhone 4S, I could really tell the difference on what it makes to my number closing rate. I guess that's because most chicks here use iPhone too. It's a form of NLP Modeling. It's almost retarded, but I am living in a society where conspicuous consumerism is rewarded heavily.

When you're in Rome, do as the Romans do. When you're in Singapore, do as the Singaporeans do.

Really?

I've always gotten phones because they were the most practical for me. Still, I have one of the 2011 droid models because I prefer the additional functionality / apps. I also swear by Verizon.

Whenever something happens to my phone my fallback is my oldschool 2002 Motorola Razr. Big pimpin.

When you have to use a phone to impress girls than you're doing something wrong in your game. What do i care what she is thinking of my phone when she already giving me her number.

I roll with this :
[attachment=4601]
I don't even bother getting internet on it. I like the qwerty so i can text fast, only thing i care about.

I agree with Neil. I haven't had a smart phone in a few months and have been forced to go back to my old ways and not stare at a tiny screen when I'm bored or uncomfortable. I've also not been able to send Dick Pics because this piece of shit can only receive pictures Laugh3

I haven't had any girls say anything yet. It's just about being confident like anything else. I could probably get away with a piece of paper and pen like in 2004 if I had to do it. I'm sure people are thinking WTF when I'm the only one in a crowd using an 8 year old slider phone. Here's my theme song when I step out of the bachelor pad:

I've got an old flip phone and have been unintentionally running this type of game for awhile when getting numbers. It definitely works to create that playful, teasing vibe, and you can make fun of her for being addicted to her smartphone while you hold a confident frame about not giving a fuck about the latest trends.

And it really is a great prop opener as well, since 100% of girls are guaranteed to have a newer phone (and will usually be holding it), you can easily elderly open them about it during daygame.

RE: My ghetto prepaid phone is a good prop
My phone just broke and I got the cheapest one I could find to replace it since I'll be buying a new once when I move overseas soon. Frequently when I have it out or text someone, a girl comments on it. If you think about it and flip the situation if I found a girl attractive I'd comment on her old brick nokia phone but if it was an ugly fat girl I'd just ignore it. I'd be willing to bet most girls would do the same.

The only ones to see it in a negative light are the annoying American types who can't say a single sentence without using the word "like" at least 2-3 times and can't go without 5 minutes of checking their facebook.

I'm even thinking about just keeping the one I have now. Do you honestly need anything more from a cell phone then making phone calls and texting? A smart phone would just be a waste of money for me.

I use an old ass flip phone. It's at least ten years old. I don't think it hurts me or helps me much. It's always good for a few seconds of conversation though.

Saw this phone on ebay, the fake Burberry faceplate just adds to the novelty.

Just purchased this second hand on Ebay:

The Motorola V620 reaches a level of stylish sophistication and intense technology that is designed to turn heads and evoke mobile envy.

This would be the perfect phone for me. I've forgone phone use for the last month and a bit. I hate them (I literally smashed my smart phone to pieces), but having the ability to call people is handy

I use a Tracfone. I call it a burner phone. Its hit or miss with the chicks, but better a contrarian than some chode who mountain climbs and has obama stickers on his prius.

A good thing to use with the burner phone prop is to casually mention gun ownership. Don't get a gun or pull out a gun, just imply gun ownership, then remark how a smart man never gives up the element of suprise. Most chicks (and guys too) misunderstand gun laws and will think its illegal or something (well, legal in middle America).

Imagine using a burner every now and then in public with the your prospects close.

Take a call, speak some gibberish, hang up, wipe your phone off and then throw it away. Cue the reactions.
