Excuse my ignorance, but for the last couple of years I heard this placed being brought up in conversation like it's the holy grail.

I've talked to people who traveled there and all I hear is it's "beautiful, blah, blah"

Is there anything special about it and if you had to choose to take a vacation there, would you?

I haven't really traveled, the only places I've been to is Tijuana, Vancouver, (Kiev)Ukraine, and (Moscow)Russia.

I would like to visit Thailand, not just for the sex tourism, I hear there are a lot of Russians there.

Its one of the prime summer destinations in the whole of Europe. Great beaches, festivals, chicas from up north (and elsewhere), the yachting industry and the proximity to Monaco and Cannes. Apart from this, there are some really beautiful villages to visit near the coast if that's your thing. Granted its very pricey in the peak summer months, but from what I hear, the place is swarming with girls from all over Europe.

I spend a lot of time down there and it's spectacular. You need a bit of coin to get the most out of it but it's worth it. Beaches,weather,women it has the lot in bucketfuls. I'll try to bash out a data sheet in the next 24 hours.
