It's been a while since I started a new thread, and I tried to find one specifically about this in the search, but couldn't. So here it is- A thread dedicated to dealing with AMOGs. I know there's a lot of material on the web about this, but I'd be curious to hear what other forum members have to say on the subject.

I'm writing this because I've been in some awkward situations lately with some of the girls I'm banging. Last night, one of them came to meet at a gig I was playing. She was sitting at the bar waiting for my set to end, and of course, some guy started chatting her up.

He was constantly trying to get her number, even though it was pretty clear that she was with me. I was polite about the whole thing because I didn't want to make a scene, and included him in the conversation because I wanted to be the guy with the stronger frame that isn't paranoid about his girl getting stolen.

Eventually he left, but it felt like I was only a few steps away from loosing the battle. Does anyone have any basic concepts or principles for handling AMOGs in a less extreme environment than a bass-thumping club? Or more subtle techniques for dealing with this kind of thing in an acquaintance/friend situation?

I don't think there is a way to avoid confrontation under these circumstances. If I were you, I'd approach the dude and say " Hey buddy, how're you doing? Is there anything I can help you with?", and try to intimidate the dude with my eyes.

Perhaps you are being too polite, and not enough Alpha. You see, an Alpha will only retreat if he smells another Alpha.

Bieng polite is one thing, but being direct and say "She's with me, homie" and pulling your girls away does not make you look Beta. Actually, your girl will be impressed that you stand your ground and protect what is yours, that is what an Alpha does.

I've had these situations happen to me 2x before, and all I do is come up to the guy (after he keeps insisting, I let him make 2 failed attempts before stepping in), put my hand on his shoulder to display dominance over him, and with confidence, say "she's with me boss" - and look directly in his eyes until HE looks away, not you!

Now, the key here is to not bitch at her, if she's attractive, expect guys will try to hit on her, especially AMOG's. After it's over, say nothing - pretend nothing ever happened, and let her pussy simmer in complete awe at your display of dominance.

Had a guy try to swoop my girl at the gas station on the way home from the bar last weekend. I grabbed her from behind, looked at dude with a big grin and said "Sorry bro, she's goin home with me tonight" very loud and confidently. Then spun her the other direction, playfully bit her ear, and made out with her. Dude left by the time I turned back around.

Normally it refers to the alpha male of a group you are about to open or already opened, not an alpha that approached your girl.

With AMOG the whole thing is about superiority.If you manage to appear superior you do not have to lift a bat.If you appear inferior then you have to go physical.With physical there is always a risk.Powerful AMOGs are the ones who go physical or threaten with violence otherwise they are easy to handle.Always judge the level of the AMOG.The AMOG has done the same about you before he comes.He talks to the girl because he has seen in you some vulnerability.He believes that if a girl talks to you she will talk to him as well because he is better.He is not likely to come if you look muscular and intimidating.

My personal tactique is to search out for the AMOG before he comes and then disorient and confuse the AMOG.For example when in Kiev an American guy tried to pick up the same girl I was talking to.He was good looking and his game was tight because I overheard what he said to her.However I managed to confuse him completely.What did I do?I started talking to the girl in Russian so he could not understand whether I was steady boyfriend.or she had just met me in club.I also talked to her in such way that his.questions later seemed boring.So I created the frame and the environment.If he could understand what I was telling her he.would.be.upset and likely would tap me and talk to me personally.In this environment he was clueless and gave up.

Another tactique to avoid AMOG is to stay away from the girl you want to talk to but close to a girl you do not want.The AMOG will presume you are going to talk to the girl close to you because you have checked the environment around her and he will come first to talk to her because he is anxious you may go first.When he gets occupied with the non target I walk fast and open the girl away which I have checked.In some cases AMOGs have pointed out what I have done and followed me behind my back Sterling in the last moment I hesitated and talking to the girl first.It can happen keep in mind that in club one guy checks the other and everyone had the same things in mind.

This is actually the best scenario, especially if you are already banging her.

I do the same thing, but I don't even look at the guy. In fact, most times I don't even acknowledge other men, even if I'm the one approaching. I used to be friendly and assert warm dominance, but now I just see most guys as monkeys not worth even pretending to care about.

I've never had a guy try to talk to a girl I was WITH. Just never happens. There's no "space" for it.

Soup: maybe you're not being intimate enough with your girl - touching, eye contact etc. Something was showing this guy that there was space for him to slide in.

Another important thing that plays role with the AMOG its your position.The best position is the one your back is not exposed so you should stand or sit with your back facing the bar.Otherwise the AMOG may come behind you tap your shoulder and say sth along the lines stay away from her she is my fiancé.He also may push you from the back and take your position next to the girl.He may face you from front and his friends come from your back to keep you disarmed.So it is very important to occupy the best position which is back not exposed best with back facing the bar.
Even in this case the AMOG may push you accidentally to fall off the chair because he understands the significance of your position.For example he may come to pick up a drink and push you with his elbows while picking the drink in order that you move away and he takes the position.He may even cough in your face or smoke directly in your face to make you move.Be prepared for anything.In general never move.
I just step up my game so when he comes to talk to girls he seems irrelevant and girls beg me to tell him to get off.

I handle this situation based on the females behavior.

In a situation like that she will:

1. Check the weak fucker for you
2. Not be into his game but be too shy/uncomfortable/scared to check him
3. Be into the weak fuckers game
   

Ideally, a bitch should...respect...the fact that she is rolling with you.

And if she...respects...you...then...she...will correct a weak ass (he ain't Alpha in my book) fucker trying to put salt in your game.

You shouldn't have to do a thing.

However, if your bitch corrects a weak fucker and he doesn't step off...then...you check his ass.

"Alright dude... You got your lil holla in... Feel good about yourself? Now step off!"

If she is too shy/uncomfortable/scared to correct him...then...you step in and check the weak fucker...hard.

"Dude... Why are you provoking my date? She's...not...interested... Step the...fuck...off!"

Now...if your bitch is moved by the weak fuckers shit... You correct...her! Take her by the arm and relocate to another location in the bar/club/etc.

Finish the date.

Take her home.

And then...dismiss...her ass.

If she disrespects you to your face by bending an ear to a weak fucker what else will she do if you give her the chance?

When I'm really tight with a chic I like to fuck with weak fuckers like that. I took the chick in the attached pic out for her birthday wearing the "outfit" in the pic.

She jumps away from the bar good to go and dude starts stutterin' and babbling upset because he just...knew...he was gonna get some pussy.

LMAO

So he's like, "Hold up! Hold up! I bought you all those drinks yo!"

I replied, "I appreciate that. You saved me some money. Boo... Give him hug."

So she gives him a hug and then turns and takes my hand and as we walk off with her switching all that ass in the fools face I yell back, "Later my nigga! We finna...fuck!"

It was tricky in that we were at a place where I work, he was a potential fan of mine, and there's no way he could have known that she was with me before he started talking to her. At first, I probably looked like the AMOG to him, but I did make an effort to kino my girl in front of him, make her switch drinks with me for a bit, and I was even ordering him around (telling him to try/buy himself a beer that I liked). I did win, but it was too close a call.

In the same way that we are trying to go "indirect" with girls, I'd like to go "indirect" with dealing with AMOGs if possible. I want to project aloofness and to appear un-phased by this kind of shit.

I don't want to come off as a jealous guy ether, which has happened in the past when I've confronted guys about this directly. I think these guys are pushing me to flip on them so that I'd look like the asshole. That said, I know that if you've gamed a girl well enough, you can do almost anything it she'll stand you (vice versa).

Yes, El Mech, there is something wrong with my game in this area. I would like to keep cool and be able to say "don't fuck with me, or that which is mine" without having to say it or without getting violent. I'm going to try to go for a higher kino-display next time.

"She's with me, homie" sounds good, as well. I like the part where you let them in for a bit and then smack them down. I'd still like to not let it get that far, but there are some tenacious AMOGs here in NYC.

I actually think the kiss move to ward off some guy hitting on your girl can be thought of as weak. Especially if this is the first time you've hung with a girl. (of course, only you can judge the situation)

I think a better move is to use the "she's with me homie" then grab the girl by the ass and turn your backs and start talking about getting a drink as casually as you would the weather.

The kiss move seems like you're afraid to let her talk to someone and you HAVE to mark your territory while the ass move seems like you're used to guys trying to hit on your girl and it's beneath your interest.

I'm just not understanding all this talk about having to say something to the guy. Just tell the girl to come sit over here, or just start talking to her about you and her, and ignore the dude. if he gets pushy or keeps butting in, just give him a quick glance like you're confused by his weirdness and carry on. I once tried to approach a girl and her bf just came up from behind her and pulled her close to him, away from me. I said "oh my bad man didn't mean to hit on your chick," and without looking at me he was like "all good - not even sweating you." I felt tiny, and was toast. Good lesson. Not even looking at the dude makes him feel like his not on your level or even close.

I lived in NYC. Dudes in NYC have weak game just like every where else. I have a tougher time with sorority chicks who are into frat guys, than I do with rich wall street bankers or black/hispanic ballers. Guys in NYC are pushy and brag a lot. Weak sauce.

Also - dudes are taking mma nowadays, on roids, getting too drunk. If you say that "homie" shit to some nutjob and he is drunk, don't turn your back on him the rest of the night. I'm guessing Soup isn't a big imposing dude by the issues he's having. Most of the guys who advocate the tough stuff can either fight, are big, or fearless. For other guys, anything other than "hey what's up man" and refocusing on the girl may cause a problem.

Also - "she's with me" - I've had guys tell me that and I still pulled her. In one case I knew he wasn't, so this told me he was a needy "friend" who was scared of me. I knew I had space to slide in. In another case, i just asked the girl, and she smirked and was like "ehhhh" and he was toast.

One really easy, subtle way to deal with guys if you aren't able to totally take the girls attention, is to walk right up to him and introduce yourself, then turn around and talk to the girl, if possible standing between him and her.

It doesn't sound like much, but it's what you DON'T say that is so effective. It's strange to introduce yourself to another dude for no reason. So when you do, it implies a reason. The subcommunication is that you must be with the girl, and as he is talking to her, you can talk to him. Subcomms that she's with you, there's nothing about it to piss him off or make him want to compete game-wise. Even if you have tighter game, you want to enjoy your girl, not have to deal with some guy who wants to prove himself. When guys challenge me on game I get really competitive and usually destroy them with shit that i wouldn't even bother to do otherwise. When guys get possessive, i know I'm in with the chick and it's a matter of pointing out to her that he needs her, I don't, and sex with me will be fucking awesome.

Just some stuff to marinate on - I've been doing this shit a long time, and I like to help dudes who are getting started and working to tighten their game.

I agree with fisto, the making out idea is rather beta, because that way you're avoiding confrontation, real men never avoid confrontation in situations like these.

Or you could try not making your life more difficult than it has to be lol...hey I'm no pacifist I have no prob being aggressive and standing up to guys. I've had my ass beat plenty of times - it's not as bad as you think it would be hahaha. I'm just guessing Soup isn't a "tough guy"
