Brazil is way overhyped in terms of getting laid. Guys always think it's going to be pussyland once they arrive. They don't know that in places like Rio, most sex for foreigners is sex tourism.

You definitely want to hit up second and third tier cities.

Stick with the north and the interior states. One of my friends lived in Manaus (in the Amazon) for a bit and dated a 16-yr old girl. Her family gave him their blessings. Hencredible nailed it about the differences between the south and the rest of the country. Something that I did in other threads in the past.

However , there are some guys who never listen and keep hyping Brazil as Pussy paradise in endless threads about the country.

Let me put it this way : If Brazil was as easy and good as some say , Me and Amour Fou would never be in this Forum.

It is no DC , but you definitely need to bring something to the table if you want Top-tier (non-pro) talent.

A friend of mine lived in SP for awhile and broke it down pretty much the same way you did, it was tough to get decent high-end girls there.

Brazil is still a cool fuckin country. The vibe there is so my speed. That country was invented by someone who thinks just like me. I'm just saying don't expect it to be like that Snoop Dogg and Pharrell video. It won't be easy and what you get will be less than what you dreamed about before you went.

Personally, I'd live in NYC over SP any day. The buildings in SP are an eyesore and the city nightlife is overly expensive. There are some hella cool people that live there though and, like Anthony Bourdain said, SP is all about having the right friends to really enjoy it.

But I have a much better chance of swooping a fly chick in New York than I ever would in SP. I know New York City, and I know American culture and I know how the girls think and what to say to them there. I also like the diversity that New York offers.
