Any of you guys had gruesome parasitical or fungal problems on your exotic travels?

It seemed like he was lackadaisical about the problem until it got severe.

If I had a sore growing on my face and was prescribed antibiotics, I would wait 3 days to give it a chance to get better before seeking a second opinion.

Hard to tell from the horribly written story, but seems like they wanted to continue their trip even as his face oozed.
