Im at AFCOM's Data Center World at the Mirage.

A few observations:

1. Sausage-fest, of course. IT is a heavily (>90%) male field. Lots of geeks / nerds in their 40s, 50s, and 60s.

2. The preliminary days (Sunday and Monday) had perhaps a dozen women. All but two were middle-age and decidedly unattractive.

3. The main stuff starts today. Number and quality of female attendees is decidedly greater.

4. Vendors have a large number of attractive female sales reps. Mid-20s to early 40s, solid 6 to 8.

5. The attractive women attending are wide open to alpha charm. They are so used to being orbited (or ignored) by a bunch of beta schlubs that my very modest approaches are producing visible tingles. Lots of IOIs.

This is fun.

The opposite of a target-rich environment. You're in Vegas, why bother going after IT girls when there's tons of women outside looking to get laid that has nowhere near the same line to them?

UPDATE: Just did a number close with one of the women on the event staff. She's a model and actress. Six feet one, slim, face 8, body 9, personality is a 9.

I agree with Vicious, this is the opposite of a target-rich environment. But the periphery has some choice opportunities.

UPDATE 2: Number close resulted on Tuesday resulted in coffee this morning, lunch together, then drinks and dinner this evening.

Lots of hand-holding and frank dinner table conversation.

After dinner, she wanted to do the public LJBF hug. I said I was going to my hotel room and that she was joining me. Slightly bewildered, she followed along.

As she was leaving, she asked when I'm going to be back in Vegas. I said, "I dunno. Maybe never."

A satisfactory operation in a target-poor environment.

Ahah well done but yes, there's something bizzarely funny about fishing for girls in Data Center World in the middle of one of the biggest international party spots with clubs swarming with hotties 7 nights a week..

I'm stepping back into the dating world, as I close out my third (and final) marriage.

I approached this as a training exercise.

I was stuck in a target-poor environment. Very few women, even fewer that I find attractive. So I treated the situation as an opportunity to test out some of what I've learned from studying Roosh and some of the other teachers.

I spotted her standing alone, while almost everyone else at the conference was dutifully attending the keynote speech. My goal was to see if I could get her phone number by the time the speech ended (45 minutes). I had it in five.

So I decided to reinforce success and see how far I could escalate this. And it escalated nicely.

The exercise objective wasn't the final act. The objective was to go, in a target-poor environment, from opening to final close.

The object wasn't to bang some woman in Sin City, but to test the strength of my Game. As a reasonably attractive guy in my mid-50s (I'm told I'm a 7 for my age), can I pull in a woman of higher SMV than me?

Better still, can I close with one who is at least 20 years my junior? After all, I would rather spend the rest of my days banging women in their 20s and 30s than women in their 50s and 60s. I want my Golden Years to be SOLID GOLD.

As I said, a successful training exercise. And outcome-independent.
