I can't say I've ever tried it but I'm in a massive get fit for the summer mindset right now and I'll try anything semi-reasonable to gain muscle mass.

It gets you juiced up definitely. I don't make a habit out of it or do it regularly, but when I have looked before going to the gym, I always get a bit more amped up. However, sometimes I accidentally "finish" and go into an energy decline/slump.

With all of these anti-porn threads, I've actually found the most effective thing for me is to not look at anything all week, and no fapping.

When Friday comes around I look at porn, but do not finish. I'm so fucking horny its not even funny. I've been approaching much more hot women with this strategy. It definitely works for me.

Yea I can vouch for this. I wouldn't frap tho I'd just get in that hungry mode from a film and go beast in the gym. To me its the same as when I see a bountiful girl in those lulu lemon pants in the gym working on squats. I can push in way more reps just having that shit in my line of vision lol.

I think coordination will be affected as well, which could cause a mild strain, or as sever as nerve damage somewhere.

ive mentioned this in the fourms before. i used to watch porn while working out at home an i always did more reps an worked out harder... but for the rest of the day/night id be insanely horny... i may or may not have had sex with the neighbors sheep after watching porn while working out -__-

Theres been some new studies on this since the original post. I'm going to give this another shot. I worked out much harder when I tried this in the past. I did however hurt my back working out to hard and didnt really do much lifting for a year or so. Now that I have started back to working out without the porn I have noticed a big difference in my motivation and not being able to push myself as much as I did while watching porn. There is also the factor that before when I was working out I was preparing for my first overseas trip so I wanted to be in the best possible shape for that as well. I truly think the porn had more to do with it then that tho.

Scientists showed different types of video clips to male athletes and then studied their workout performances, a major newspaper reported.

The experts found changes in salivary testosterone samples and subsequent squat performance, after the weightlifters watched the pornographic clips, according to a magazine.

Looking at different types of videos produced incredibly different reactions in saliva.

The report did not mention the origin of the scientific study.

Erotic, aggressive, funny, training and motivational clips prompted a noticeable increase in testosterone, while sad and neutral videos sparked a significant dip in testosterone.

Saliva samples were collected on six occasions immediately before and 15 minutes after watching a four-minute long clip. The male athletes then performed a squat workout.

The report said the study contributes to the idea that sex improves an athlete's performance.

I have noticed that when the gym TV showed a cute girl (i.e. usually a news reporter) it gave me a little energy boost + extra motivation. So I would tend to believe there really could be something to this.

When you watch porn it causes your brain to release exaggerated levels of dopamine. So I am wondering if by only watching porn when I am working out I can trick my brain into getting that excited to work out. If it relates the working out to the dopamine then I should never have a problem getting a good work out in. I may be a genius........

That's the idea Cr33pin. Porn gets your hormones pumping and you take advantage of the elevated T levels by lifting heavy.
