What you should/shouldn't say to women with barren wombs

"You shouldn't have waited so long, dummy" isn't on the list.

RE: What you should/shouldn't say to women with barren wombs
For a lot of women, it's definitely about waiting too long to try. But in my own circle I have some couples that have struggled, but not for that reason. I have friends that waited until both were in their mid-30s to marry, then popped out two healthy kids in succession. No problem. I know another couple that went in knowing that she couldn't conceive naturally, so they went through some failed attempts of IVF before they had a daughter, then some more failed attempts before having twin daughters. I think they want to try for more. They were both around 30 when they got started. I know another couple that keep trying, but she's miscarried at least a couple of times, maybe 3 times. They were around 30 when they married. You obviously don't want to talk about pregnancy, babies, etc. in front of her because it can definitely be painful. And to offer some kind of bullshit opinion as to why she hasn't been able to conceive yet should earn you a punch in the face. It's just plain insensitive, and also just stupid to give unsolicited opinions on something you just don't know anything about.

"The best kind of pride is that which compels a man to do his best when no one is watching."

I can see the unsolicited advice and jesus-talk being rude, but then she goes into stuff like getting invited to baby showers or birthday parties or just the simple mention of having kids oneself, and frankly that's nutty. That's equivalent to getting cancer and then DEMANDING that your friends shave their heads in solidarity. And you know damn well that if people conspicuously avoided mentioning their kids she'd be railing about that instead.

You shouldn't tell a barren girl you want children.

You should tell a barren girl to bend over and get ready, b/c you are going to raw dog the hell outta her.

Speaking from experience.

Don't do this! Girls are full of shit and not to be trusted. I have a buddy who raw dogged a girl we know a bunch of times back in the day because she had surgery and was unable to ever have children.....so she said.

Fast forward 5-7 years and the bitch is divorced with 2 kids. Luckily, not from my friend.

Women with a barren womb are fucked up over it, unless they had their tubes tied (choice). It's easy to tell by the convo that they are really dry, so no worries there. Unless you are bad on reading signs, then I suggest always wearing a rubber.

Being overly patronizing and saying things like "God doesn't want you to have children" is, in my opinion, spiteful, distasteful, and wrong. I can only see religious nuts saying things like that. However, 7 to 16 are pretty normal things to say to anybody.

The chick is probably in her mid thirties. She knows that the window of opportunity for conception is closing fast. Her age may not be the largest determining factor in her inability to conceive, but it definitely plays a part.
