I think it's great that some members are fans of others (like G and Mixx) but it may be easier to start a private correspondence than publicly beg or ache for them to return.

Mixx is one of the more innovative people on this forum. I would love to see him come back.

I'm with speakeasy on this. My take on the situation is that MiXX felt he was the biggest contributor here and, of late, rightly or wrongly, wasn't getting enough back from the forum in return. Also, from the start, he was paranoid that "lurkers" were harvesting his information and using it to their advantage. Accompanying these issues, he felt that despite his strong presence on the forum he lacked any real power, and became notably more vocal about it after Tuthmosis got the big promotion rather than him about a month before he left. Removing the rep system, a quantitative indicator of his major contributions to the forum, was really just the straw that broke the camel's back and a convenient and timely justification for him abruptly leaving the forum entirely. As such, by reinstating the rep system, I doubt it will lure him back - though I of course hope it does.

Regardless of him coming back or not, i just wonder why a guy like Mixx never made his own blog. Several forum members have one. I remember him trying to make his own TV show, it looked kinda professional already. Its not that hard to set up a website.

I have 100% proof that Mixx is not coming back. Mixx died 2 weeks ago in an apparent suicide in California. Mixx's real name I found out was, "Junior Seau." J/k They look like twins.

The Rep System is inconsistent and is not an accurate representation of quality posts considering people on this forum have different reasons for being here. I feel getting points is like getting a job. If you don't have relevant experience to start threads, it's impossible to get points. What if you're new and want help, but nobody wants to support you because you're not repped???
