I have been spending some free time in the last few years looking at some "Lifestyle Businesses".

A "Lifestyle Businesses", for our purposes, could be defined as some biz that makes it mad easy to swoop girls ie a bar, restaurant, nightclub, hair salon, girl clothing boutique, P0rn company, Swimsuit calendar biz etc.

I know one day in the next ten years, I will have to open up one of these businesses to make my life easier. Although I feel I can party and rage for the next 20 years, the odds says it's not sustainable.

So what do you guys think is the best brick and mortar lifestyle biz?

Bar (not really interested unless it's an optimal situation)
Nightclub (not really interested unless it's an optimal situation)
Restaurant (not really interested unless it's an optimal situation)
Gym
Boxing Gym for women
Yoga Studio
Hair Salon
Spa
Massage place for women
Clothing Boutique
Flower Shop
Bed and Breakfast
Lingerie shop

What are you thoughts?

Which is the best, and why?

Anyone with experience with these please share.

I always thought a self serve yogurt place would be good. There is one called Balis in San Luis Obispo, right across from off campus student housing and it was always packed with a line out the door at night time. Each cup of yogurt and toppings costs $3-$5 and is a total cash business and you only need 1-2 people there at a time. You can basically have a dozen super hot 18-20 year old college girls working there and you pay them minimum wage.

I think location is the key to this business. Need lots of foot traffic. A strip mall with lots of restaurants/pizza places, by a movie theater, University area, etc.

I also don't think this business would require too much of your time when compared to most brick and mortar businesses.

I could be wrong though, I haven't really looked into this business much.

But I don't think being "The Yogurt Guy" would really be that dope. Maybe, maybe if you had some super gourmet yogurt place on the beach in Saint Tropez with topless girls rolling up or something.

Actually, that is not a bad idea.

But I think girls would come in too quick and split. It's more of a "fast food" operation in reality where people don't hang out.

does it have to be a 'lifestyle' business ? have you considered B2B companies. it's a lot more established and business customers are usually less finicky, less of a headache, higher margins and long term business relationships.

i'm part owner in a manufacturing company as well as a distributor. i'm using a lot of the 'lifestyle design' principals - moving to online quoting tools, managing employees remotely etc.

there's nothing but pure old men in the industries i'm in and besides the occasional trip to the strippers for meetings with client. there's very little swooping that can be done. but the money/margin is predictable and the head aches are manageable. in a few years i will feel comfortable being away for extended periods of time (a month or two). also there's the possibility of future acquisitions or selling to larger players.

just something to consider. i'm a big fan of your work Gmanifesto. salute.

I am looking for an easier route for when I get older.

Going out at night and destructing nightspots can only go on for so long.

Well, I know two guys, one has a wine shop, the other sells designer sunglasses. Both earn money, but both also have day jobs. I do not know the details but apparently it is not too easy to retire on those businesses.

I am not looking to retire with this biz. I already make money. Hence the whole "Lifestyle Business" moniker.

Of the two guys you know, are they clocking girls from their biz?

A photographer.

Slutty girls love to have their pictures taken in clubs. Then exchange biz cards, tell them you'll post their pics on the website and they should get in contact to see them.

Become official photographer with special events venues (weddings, special occasion parties).

Offer the pretext that you're searching for models - an excellent bait when approaching.

Make up some spiritual bullshit about how you learned this on an ashram in your 20s and talk non stop about how it increases sexual chakra. Seriously just learn some of the words and start making up your own gibberish. Women love that.

If you're doing it for girls, I see a few main criteria:

Quantity

Quality

Access

Just because you have fly girls passing through, it doesn't mean it will be easy to get girls to bang right then and there. And it's going to be much easier to bang cute girls 'in the moment' than to schedule a date and go through the whole rigmarole.

Bar Nightclub Restaurant - hours are hellish I hear
Gym Boxing Gym for women Yoga Studio - you'd want something with a studio, personal 'homey' feel. Running game as the owner of a big box gym like 24 Hour Fitness will probably just come off as creepy. Plus, these places have 'regulars,' so it'd be hard to juggle multiple girls. I wonder though if your place will get a bad rep if you mack a rotten apple.

Hair Salon - unless you've got styling chops, you'd have to resort to banging the employees or milling about doing nothing in the shop. You also rent out the chairs, so you'd meet more women that way. Seems like a very competitive niche for a non-expert.
Spa
Massage place for women
Clothing Boutique
Flower Shop - I like this, but you'd probably be meeting dudes and older women.
Bed and Breakfast - the fly girls coming probably already have a man in tow.
Lingerie shop - will girls buying lingerie mostly already have a man?
Wine shop - Attracts an older crowd, late twenties and up.

Spas and female massage parlors seems good. Concerns about your reputation suffering from macking are a concern here too.

My dream has always been to run a hostel in a hot spot. Just imagine running a hostel in VENICE BEACH. Every cute European chick passing through Southern California makes a stop there. The hours might be bad, but you're never far from a bed, you've got cute, often solo girls coming to you, asking for advice, chilling out in the hostel.

Another option is running a some sort of boutique hotel near a hot nightlife spot. Hot nightlife = hot young single girls. Breaking through a gaggle of girls to bang one might prove difficult, but I guess you'd make it up in volume.

Another option is to combine some normal store with alcohol, and make it really trendy. Vodka Fro-Yo. Cognac Cupcakes. Put it in a trendy area, have cute drunk girls filling your spot to the brim. There might be legal obstacles.

Or concierge type services aimed at travelers. Girls are sluttier on vacations, they don't know anyone in the area, and are looking for someone who can offer a helping hand. Run some hotel or venue and then link up with some vacation program aimed at young people.

Don't have any experience here really besides a stint in retail, just brainstorming.

Of course, the absolute best is the bar/nightclub, but you don't want the headache associated with owning one of those, unless you are really far removed from managing the place.

I think the only one that will work is the restaurant.

Reason being, G, you always talk up good food, so you like restaurants already and know a lot about them

Plus, it's easy to be the money behind them and get a real quality guy to run the place. You just gotta give your managing guys a big share of the company so they don't rob you and they keep all the workers from robbing you.

The restaurant is the only business on the list, in my opinion, that the owner can walk up to girls and say "Hi I'm the owner" comfortably. You got a million reasons to engage your customers. You know "hows the food" type conversations.

You also have a guy, myself, that can supply you with the world's finest sashimi grade fish, which you are going to need a lot of. The distributor I use can get it anywhere in the world (within reason) in 18-24 hours.

Regarding the flower shop, if you're looking to make $ it's a mint. For girls that's a no-go. Some of my relatives own a big floral distribution company, a few shops, and a bunch of lei stands. The mark-up is on the same level as heroin. Unfortunately, the really good looking girl customers are the end user. Guys are doing the buying and sending them to girls houses. If you want to drive the van, and be the flower delivery guy you'll come face to face with tons of girls, but you can do that without owning the business.

Even with the flower shop, and with all the other businesses you described:

Gym

Bed and Breakfast
Lingerie shop
Wine shop

Here's the problem: No matter what you do, people, including a large segment of the girls you want to swoop, are gonna think your gay. The girls will say "Wow, he's really charming and well dressed, it's too bad he owns a lingerie shop." Even after you overcome the stereo type, do you really want to have to tell people at least once a day that you aren't gay? No.

Hence The G Manifesto Grill is the way to go.

Strongly disagree. Girls are intrigued by a guy who is masculine and attractive, yet has a few 'feminine' interests. A few girls will be annoying and say things like "haha, are you gay" - you can easily ignore those. But the quality ones will be intrigued.

Also, from what I've heard, running a restaurant is a pretty big headache too.

This is one of my post-golden-years game goals I have thought a lot about. I want to have as little interaction as possible with the biz, I simply want it to be my spot to hang out and home base to pull. Thats what a lifestyle biz means to me.

You have already stated you don't need it for the money, which is why the focus should be to a break-even business after factoring in hired management. If you turn a profit great, but Im talking focusing all cash into management to make it as passive as possible. Profits could still be made with a break-even business through the real estate appreciation/eventually selling an established biz to someone.

I would go nightclub/strip club.

Nightclub would be good because of the constant flow of new females which could be gamed. Have an isolated office/private VIP room you could bounce girls too. Also you could invite females you met elsewhere to hang out at your spot.

Strip club would great because of the sexual vibe and you would have the final say so on girls to hire if you please. The downside is you would be gaming your employees. Not many females you met elsewhere would be keen on the idea of hanging out in the room of your strip club.

Swingers club would be a guaranteed way to have constant access to fresh poon, but I have no experience in the quality of women that would go or even in the process of starting/advertising one.

Other good choices would be decent sized beach bars or nice wine bars.

I'm with basil. G, you should know enough about restaurants/clubs/bars to not get sucked into that shit. It's a headache that's absolutely not worth it unless you're part of a team of highly successful and knowledgeable restaurant people.

You probably want something where you can catch women off guard. I think the florist is a fucking great idea. It lends itself to women seeing an "endearing" side to any straight guy that would own a flower shop. They go in and drop their guard immediately, you pull some G charm, and off you go.

I'd say wine shop but in my experience most wine buyers are men. However, for the 30-40% female clientele you do get, it presents a perfect opportunity to take them by the hand and charm their pants off while you school them on Malbec and Cunoise. Besides, girls that pound wine and buy bottles at a time are basically hanging a sign from their neck saying, "I drink. Bang me."

Basically, the trend in fitness with women is group classes.

Group classes are like crossfit for men.

Women generally just don't exercise alone. They need encouragement.

Women also want to feel girly. Every chick watches Dancing with the Stars.

The big trends are yoga, pilates (especially with reformer machines) and dance type classes. Girls do dance stretches, etc.

The only issue with those classes is they are expensive. So you get girls in their mid to late 20s and some 30s chicks going.

But I know from experience what the girls look like. Many are very cute and fit. They live clean lifestyles so they have good skin and are aging well. Lots of green tea and kale.

My ex and all her friends go to those places.

Plus a lot of them have their own coin. So if you wanna run gigaglo game (that's my "retirement plan"), there's an opp.

Also, the instructors are paid per class. They are contractors. Low fixed costs.

Basically you give a guy $50,000 to manage you place and 20% commission. You rent a space. You buy the machines. If you do Pilates, you'll have to get a license. And the machines are like 12 grand each.

Your instructor will get $25-50 per class and the privilege to work out free.

I've looked into this as it's part of my long-term plan.

When you're in Newport, socal, orange county, look at bar method places, dailey method, etc.

I don't believe a single word that Pickup artist Paul Janka says, and I don't even know who he is.

What I do believe is that whatever business Thegmanifesto decides to operate will be a runaway success. He will have a tremendous amount of people coming through the door. Granted, a certain portion of the female population will be intrigued about the guy who owns the hair salon for example, a larger segment will blow him off as gay no matter what vibe he puts out there.

I'm basing this off the common stereotype that men who own hair salon's and flower shops are gay. My cousins that own the flower shops I mentioned are gay as easter baskets. My opinion is that Thegmanifesto should not put himself, his reputation and his money into anything where such a stereotype exists.

I own a hostel, and the building it runs out of. I talked to a few members of this forum about running it.

Girl wise it is a goldmine. Business wise it has been an absolute disaster, and it's time to move on. I should write something up about the experience.

I am currently working on this as well.

I started to make a little bread off of it here.

I also have a fashion magazine but will not post that on here, I have too many haters and white knights on my trail haha.

But I will say this, these two types of businesses definitely give you access to the higher caliber girls and the events they attend.
