Aha! Moment about the rationalization hamster
I've always sort of understood female reasoning, backwards rationalization, and the hamster on an abstract, detached, observational way. I understand the concepts and the basic mechanisms of how it works but the current conversation I'm having with a girl as we speak has given me a rare glimpse into the actual workings of it and I have had a breakthrough.

I know it's not a new concept to any of you, but I've never heard it put quite so simply into these terms that made it click in my head exactly how insane women really are.

The conversation went in a direction of "feelings". Instead of tuning out like I usually do, I decided to make it a fun roleplay to get her to let her guard down and try to teach me.

These are direct quotes:

I felt mad, so that proves that you were trying to make me mad.

I was horny, so that's how I know you were trying to seduce me.

I got jealous, so that's why you did that---to make me feel jealous.

Again, this isn't new or groundbreaking to any of you, but it set aight bulb off in my head. Essentially, if I understand it, the feeling is the center of everything, and creates from it both the reasoning and the intentions.

Do I have that somewhat right? Because it sounds like "the effect creates the cause". Or perhaps they have cause and effect reversed? Just seems that the feeling is not an effect or an result to them, or that they simply don't think in terms of cause-effect. It seems they view the response (feeling) as chronologically first or more central, and use it to define thebstimulus.

Does this sound as ridiculous to you as it does to me?

You made a couple of good points. And yes, sir, feelings become the cause rather than the effect. In general, I noticed that feelings have a universally "positive" connotation for a woman, feelings are the nexus, they trigger a response that is overwhelming (i.e. natural) and as such, must be embraced, no matter what the consequences could be.

Once you understand this principle you know how the hamster spins and you can use that to your advantage.

RE: Aha! Moment about the rationalization hamster
To be fair, going from feelings to rationalization is not sole province of the female gender - men do the same thing, just not as much and not as blatantly.

The big difference is that women are not expected to be reasonable or to use their pre-frontal cortex to control and channel their emotions.

"Man Up" tends to mean exactly that - do something correct but difficult that goes against your instinct. Examples range from running into a burning building to speaking with integrity to honest self-criticism.

We don't expect or teach women to 'man up', so they never learn to do so, hence a near total disconnect between words and truth - they basically say (and think) whatever is easiest and most convenient right now as apposed to what is honest but usually more difficult and less convenient.

Lets get real though.

All of our bitching aside, we don't really seem to care if she's crazy so long as she's hot and good in bed, right?

Personally, I've had more than my fair share of dating extremely intelligent girls with excellent self control, and I can, without reservation say this: it's not worth it.

Intelligence is a big turn on, yes, but a cool, calm, analytical demeanor just isn't what we look for.

We love girls that are crazy, wild, and uninhibited - acting on every impulse when we fuck them, right?

Well, those same girls are the same way in their daily life.

Interesting insight. It explains why the hamster will sometimes say stuff that makes no logical sense. For example, when you bring up an LTR's frigidity, and she says, "You just want sex, sex, sex! Why don't you just get a prostitute, rather than a girlfriend?"

When I hear that, I think, "That's like if I were to go into a restaurant and say, 'Excuse me, I ordered a burger with extra onions but there are hardly any onions on this; can I get some more onions' and they were to say, 'All you want are onions, onions, onions! Why don't you just buy a bag of onions and eat those, rather than ordering a burger?'"

No, I want a burger with lots of onions. (Or an LTR with lots of sex.)

But in her mind, if you want more of something, that means you ONLY want that one thing, because from her perspective, it FEELS that way. I could just as easily say, if a girl I was in a sexual relationship with kept asking me to buy her stuff and pressuring me to make more money, "Why don't you just become a prostitute, if all you want is to get as much money as possible for having sex?"

All these things start to happen when you actually care about the girl. For example, mad & jealousy you would never even feel unless you actually had feelings about her right?

Minus the prostitute thing an ex kept telling me the same thing. And she wasn't frigid at all. I made the mistake of telling her that sex is the main reason people get into relationships and the main reason I liked her.

She broke up with me a few months later.

RE: Aha! Moment about the rationalization hamster
I can't pinpoint one particular moment. Moreso the general attitude that women have regarding "it was meant to be". Women tend to rationalize both good and bad things in their lives. Most women don't have nearly as strong as an idea as a man does as to the difference between cause and effect. Action and inaction. I wouldn't say that is malicious on their part, they are just used to being more protected as the more valuable biologically compared to men. They are used to others protecting and providing for them. They don't grasp and won't grasp the great toils men have to go through to build and maintain civilization. As men, we shouldn't hate women for not being us, or going through our struggles. They are merely acting out of impulse, not malice, at least most of the time. Just like men tend to act out of impulse when their gut tells them that a woman is crazy, but they want sex so badly that they end up sleeping with a BPD woman that stabs him in the chest with a steak knife because some female friend posted on his facebook. Both men and women rationalize certain aspects about the opposite sex. There's a male and female hamster, even if they manifest themselves differently.

"Because feels" - a major counter intuitive concept to master when dealing with women.

What's the saying -- "change her mood, not her mind"?

The it-doesn't-counts and the backwards rationalizations are maddening when they play against you, and make you feel invincible when they swing in your favor.

Meet with Triumph and Disaster and treat those two impostors just the same.

I like the burger analogy, but here's a different one you could try out:

Tell your girl she is like a fine wine, rich and classy. But even with fine wine, we still want to have a frappucino. Ask her why, when we already have delicious wine, do we still want frappucinos?

I guarantee she will immediately rev up into a tizzy thinking about her own love for Starbucks and "wow he's right!"

All of this only matters because women have so much power today.

Thinking back to my older female relatives, they were good wives, mothers, homemakers, but if you sit and listened to them talk, they were as nutty as fruit bats.

It didn't matter though because the still did what was expected of them.

They followed their husbands lead in spiritual matters, even though secretly they felt like it was their prayers that had all the power and kept the church together.

They let dad be the boss at home even though secretly, they thought they were the glue that held the family together.

They supported and encouraged their sons, only hinting obliquely at their preferences for his life's path, all the while thinking, secretly, a mother knows best, she just knows.

It didn't really matter what they thought, as long as they did what was expected of them.

Fruity female logic only hurts when they have the power to impose it on others, socially, through the media, or in the divorce courts.

So nowadays everything is either rape or sexism, and we have a whole couple of generations of women with nothing better to do with their lives than squeal and agitate about it, and they are sucking us down into a hamstery chaos that no one, least of all them, even understands.

Nothing wrong with the hamster, just don't give it a gun.

“The greatest burden a child must bear is the unlived life of its parents.”
