My Facebook list is full of chicks who post these cutesy image memes with feminist messages, and newslinks to Jezebel-type blog articles.

I can't say the exact number but my guess is something like 15% of my female Facebook friends aged 20-30 are into it. None of my older female friends seem into it, I guess because a lot of them are already married and have "moved past" gender type issues to some extent.

I have to be fair.

I have more female Facebook friends who are NOT like this, than who are. It seems like both horny slutty type chicks, and girls in stable long term relationships ,are never into it. But the number of them that participate in this kinda stuff SEEMS to be growing. I guess it's among the recently-out-of-college single working women that it's most common.

It's hard to gauge how much of this is motivated by genuine bitterness and how much is just "grrrl power" trolling, but it's something to think about.

In my experience, feminists tend to be average looking at best and lacking in any feminine qualities that could help land a man of decent means. This results in bitterness, and becomes a self-feeding cycle of resentment, further deterioration of looks and femininity, inability to land a man of decent means, further bitterness, etc.

Most feminists are girls who don't have access to the wonderful world of attention that good looks can bring a woman. It has little do with pay or equality for most of these women....rather, they are resentful and they scapegoat society and men in general for their unhappiness.

Happy people usually don't try to complain about their circumstances.
