Travel Deals Thread
I have been posting a few travel deals I have come across on separate threads but I think it will be good to have it all consolidated on one thread.

So, share the wealth on any travel deals you come across.

I will get things started.

Some pretty sick Winter Deals on Lufthansa:

http://www.lufthansa.com/us/en/winter-escape

I have my eye on this one:

Boston - Barcelona $255*

G,

Great idea. I bet theres a bunch of people that would leave if the right deal came along. I'm personally hunting for a deal to Cordoba or BsAs.

RE: Travel Deals Thread
This isn't an airline deal but a score none the less.

A few weeks back I went tot the Philippines, which is a horrible place to go.

I went to the Mall of Asia, which sucks, and found a watch store with some unbelievable deals. I marked where it was on the mall map and would be happy to scan and send the map to anyone heading there anytime soon.

I got 3 100% real Omega watches for $460 US dollars total. I took them to 2 official watch guys in Honolulu that were able to verify the serial numbers and everything. These things are brand new in the box. I looked on a watch website and these things cost $3995, $3995 and $2175. The girl I was with got a Breitling with diamonds and shit on it for $180. It's $4975 on the same website. She took it someplace and it is real also.

Like I said the UPI sucks but I'm thinking about flying back just to buy more of these. The store had 100's of watches.

Aloha!

There's no way it can be real if it was sold at that price. If it is, then someone made a huge mistake. It may possibly be stolen goods someone is looking to sell quickly. Vendors can't sell imported items like watches, cameras, playstations, and designer clothing for huge discounts. These things cost the same anywhere in the world. Where the huge discounts tend to come is on locally made goods and Chinese knockoffs.

I'm interested in hearing though why the Philippines sucked, since I'm considering it as a future possible destination. I dig Philippine girls.

I think that's what it was. They had 100's of them. There was another store that was selling Iphones for about $50.

The UPI sucks for many reasons.

OK, but here's a travel deal.

You guys should really check out Hong Kong.

You can get there cheap from the west coast. http://www.flychina.com/. Check Cathay and Asiana, too. Those Asian Airlines are so much better in so many ways.

Aloha!

If you check Mexicana, you can get a one-way ticket from MIA to Mexico City nonstop for around $130.

This isn't a specific travel deal, just possibly a time-saver for shoppers.

I spent about 3 hours trying to find the cheapest 1-way flight to Cordoba in February. The site that gave me the best price by far? cheapoair.com

Completely obliterated expedia, hotwire, orbitz, kayak, priceline, etc.

$550, btw

What a coincidence you posted that because I just used cheapoair.com tonight to find and book the cheapest one way ticket to Quito. Cheaper than any of the other search engines and airline websites.

should mention that you need a US issued credit card on that site

no good for me

should also point out that colombia to ba becomes very cheap if you go overland to lima and fly to ba from there
