Just use your passport.

Plus, foreign countries aren't as draconian about ID's to get into bars as the US.

Someone brought up having a photocopy of your passport, and carrying your American driver's license in case they need proof. That seems like a pretty safe way to go.

alright, so yest was our first day in Rio. Ive never seen so many exotic fine chicks in my life. I mean solid 8' - 9's passing you by on the streets. We went to lapa last night and it started raining on the way there soo i dont think we got the real lapa night life. We got screwed by the cab driver. was supposed to be only like 25 reil but he said it was 40 dollars. That wont be happening again. Anyways with the down pour of rain we decided to drink at this bar. Had some chicks looking at me but had about 3-4 guys with them so i decided not to say anything. I was pretty much just feeling out the place last night. Gonna be on the offensive tonight.

any suggestions on how i should open the girls here? maybe oi! and give a complement in portg.? or just go straight to asking if they speak any english? any reccomendations would be appreciated.

well im off to the beach, should be interesting!

Here in Cordoba I've never been asked for ID. I dont even carry it.
