The kid is probably gay or transgender. If dad wants to help his gay/trans son feel comfortable about himself, that's OK with me. Besides, as a guy, I would like to wear a kilt occasionally, if only to let my balls hang free while going about my daily business.

The son is like 5 years old. The kid shouldn't even have a sexual identity yet.

What the hell are they doing pushing the kid in this direction at such a young age? A lot of boys will try on dresses at that age, that doesn't make them trans. SWPL parents see this behaviour through their own radical theory tinted lens and jump on the opportunity to show everyone how progressive they are and push their kids in a direction that may fuck them up for life. It's the worst kind of selfish exhibitionism.

That there are transsexuals around doesn't bother me in the least; they've been around in every society regardless of the prevailing values. It's the militant activism and in your face flying of the freak flag that's damaging.

I would start training him immediately. Then, in 20 years he could become this.

From the article:

"Even though he loved wearing dresses, Pickert's son was too shy to put one on in public for fear of being laughed at, especially by his pre-school classmates."

Yeah, like that's going to stop. Why encourage this?

The only reason a 5 year old has a dress to put on in the first place, is because his parents bought him one that fits. Think about it, unless you have a twin sister at 5 years old, where are you as a 5 year old going to get the garment to do this? Did mommy secretly want a girl and was she playing "dress up" with him?

To each their own.

The end justifies the memes.

You might be right. I am just basing it on my experience as a youngster. I KNEW I liked women from back when I was 3 or 4 years old. I still remember watching Charlie's Angels (yes, I am a little old) as a toddler and wanting to do SOMETHING to Jaqueline Smith and Cheryl Ladd. I didn't know what it was, but I knew that it was MORE than kissing. The same thing with Lynda Carter as Wonder Woman. I remember wanting to be INSIDE her. I had no idea what that meant, but I wanted a hell of a lot more than a hug. If I met ANY of those chicks as a 3 o 4 year old and they popped out a titty and asked "do you want a suck?" I would have hopped on that shit is half a second.

I remember being 5 years old and seeing a flash of nudity on my grandparents' cable TV (cable only had 2 channels back then, yes, I am that old). They must have been watching the same movie in their bedroom because my grandmother IMMEDIATELY came into the room I was in and unplugged the cable. I cried and cried, because I wanted to see more boobies. I even remember the movie (Used Cars, with Kurt Russell). I NEVER EVER had any feelings like that for a guy, even though I liked a lot of shows and movies that stared guys.

I can't be the only one who was sexually aware at such a young age, or can I?

Get him a kilt and let him watch Braveheart over and over again.

Then do the same with Highlander.

Problem solved.

No. I distinctly remember wanting a harem of adult girls at about 8 years old.

RE: Dad wears skirt to support dress-wearing son
Kid is fucking 5 years old, dad should get the chair for pushing him into something that's (extremely highly likely) to be just a phase...but you know how these 'progressives' are; if we can destroy the traditional roles that led us here today, then one day all of us can live in a magical rainbow connection society where everybody is loved, respected, valued and needed and never ever subjected to something as bad as hateful words and criticism!

Or, simply...

The boy should be spanked and his dresses taken away. The father should be thrown in jail for stupidity.

The father is a total idiot, no doubt about it.

The real problem however is that the guy is given so much media attention, validating his "honourable" deed.

Theory: The dad always wanted to wear dresses, and this provided a convenient excuse. The kid inherited the gay gene from his dad. It's the circle of life.
