So I'm off to a big toursit city. It seems overrun with foreigners and many of the locals are wealthy elites. Anyone have experience in high tourism cities?

I will be living in a uni dorm, perhaps a small apartament if I can afford it. I'm fluent in the language but know no one here.

How do you build social circle, get girls in a super touristy city?? Do's and don'ts? How do you integrate and avoide being labelled just another sight seer/partier?

Are touristy cities really that much harder than others? Whats makes a tourist city particularly hard... and what are the good sides to it?

I'm interested mainly in the general strategies needed for succeeding in a city where being foreign is nothing special, the people are relatively well off, and .... well, how to find pockets of success.

^^^ Kamaki's right, this should be a smooth sailing. You have all the pro's of the foreigner, but no cons:

You are an American which is still a DHV and suggests that you either have money or have a good future money-earning potential. Even more importantly you will appear worldly and have the different Western outlook that is attractive to many Polish girls. BUT at the same time you speak fluent Polish and are familiar with the culture AND you have a legit reason for a long term stay. I thing Deb (rest his soul) hat met you and said you are good looking, fit and decent dude. You would be the perfect boyfriend for many polish girls. AND you will be in college environment filled with hot young pussy. For these reasons you have definitely better odds at success than Roosh had and we all know how well he did. All you need is polishing up your game and maintain positive attitude.

I would focus on online game, at least in the beginning. I have no experience with Poland, but I had very good results from online pipelining in Bratislava, Slovakia, which is IMO a very similar country. Krakow is twice as big as Bratislava and should have even more online girls. Me being a Slovakian-American this approach was quite effortless and effective, especially compared to how fucked up online game is in USA. Last time I went I had too little time to explore day and night game much (and I had too many online leads already), but girls were very nice and receptive as well.

So game on and hustle, hustle, hustle and most importantly don't be discouraged by initial failures, that will change. In your situation, you are simply destined for success.

You're in Krakow right?
It's not that big in the end, if you walk a lot in the center it's very likely that you'll meet the same people one or two times in one day, especially if they are tourists.
In that city you can game on forever, I liked it a lot...
