Photo Travelling by Boat
I have not seen a thread about long distance travelling by boat. I always thought it was interesting and an alternate option for Plane when it comes to price.

I did some search and found a couple of sites that have some info:
The articles say that it can get even more expensive than a flight. Well thats a little dissapointing...

Anyways, I want to know if anyone from the forum has done it? How is it like?

RE: Travelling by Boat
I have always wanted to do the long around the world type of cruise but never done it. I have taken 7 cruises in both the Caribbean and Mediterranean and found them enjoyable. You only get a day in each place, but can see a lot of places quickly. I've also taken some overnight ferries. Let me know if you decide to do a freighter. I've always wanted to do one.
