Im headed to Brazil next week for 3 months, so wanted to start a thread where people, who are actually there, can chime in on how the situation on the ground over there is now.
As some of you know, spent a month and a half in Bucaramanga, Colombia and was surprised at the amount of chubby girls I saw on the streets and the girls´ lack of warmth . Never had experienced that, in any city I had been to in Colombia, the last 4 years. A famous ex forum member also talked about how things had changed in Medellin. But until my next return to Colombia (when i will stay in Cali, Manizales and Medellin), I cant say for sure that the decline I saw in Bucaramanga is a general trend happening all over the country.
Rio, IMO is a city that has been ruined (I was there 2 years ago) by the sex tourist vibe and an increase in chubinness of the average girl on the street. A year later went to the Northeast and everything seemed pretty good still. So starting next week, I will keep my eyes open for any negative trends and will put out regular reports.

My younger brother will be with me in Brazil these next 3 months. He has stayed with me in Colombia various times and he did better than I with the ladies, this last time we were in Bucaramanga.
It will be his first time in Brazil, and he has studied portuguese for only a few weeks. So it will also interesting to see what he thinks of Brazil now.

As long as you stay away from Rio and Sao Paulo, probably not. I'm interested to hear how Natal is. It's supposed to be good.

Just started pipeling Brasilia recently, especially to brush up on my portuguese. I read somewhere that the 2 most used dating sites in Brazil are badoo and twoo. I have always used badoo and it is solid tool to use, once you get to your brazilian destination. Though unfortunately, it tracks your ip address, so I cant put in my profile that I am in Brasilia right now. Thus, it does not allow me to do a specific city search, but just a general Brazil search.
In Brasilia you have to use the internet and day game at the malls to find the girls. The streets are so long and most people dont walk around, so street game is not an option. Nightgame, the venues are too spread out since there is no central bar or club area ....so it is not a viable regular option.
The usage percentage for these sites was 7 percent for badoo and 3 percent for twoo, which is very low compared to American dating sites. Has anybody used twoo or zoosk in Brazil? I used Brazilian cupid once a few years and it sucked. So will give this twoo site a try, since it is only 12 dollars a month.

Once you get to the Northeast (Natal), the internet is not very necessary. There you have beach, street and mall game to keep you busy.

I was only in Natal a few days but saw alot more tourists, especially brazilians from central and southern brazil, than the city where I was living: Joao Pessoa. So, in theory, going for one night stands, with brazilian girls on vacation from other cities, is another option.

There are plenty of hot slim and sexy brazilian women left for you. Half of the stuff I read about Rio is outdated or not applicable. I've been here for a few months and had received much interest and play from traveling Brasilieras in Rio. I've got personal invitations to visit one girl from each city: Natal, Brasilia, Belo Horizonte, Natal, Curitiba, Goias. So far I've had time to go to Brasilia and Goias where. You still need sharp game for cariocas. Dress nice and know some Portuguese, pretend you're staying here for a while and you'll have fun. Don't dress down because you'll have lots of competition from ALL the other gringos so be prepared if you're going to stay in Rio!

You get a lot of garotas from other cities in Rio and that is a plus, but IMO not enough to overcome the negatives or not to pick another city. The fact that you mention traveling brasileiras and the competition in Rio, indicates precisely that. Not that a good time cant be had in Rio, just that there are so many other overlooked options in Brazil.
How did you like Brasilia or Goias?. If it was a weekend stay, then it would be hard to get enough info to judge well.
What I like about Brasilia that is similar to Rio: you get a lot of girls from other cities coming to work, who are open minded and friendly. And being a gringo is a plus overall. Also, paraphrasing a former forum member.....there is nothing interesting for men and women to do in Brasilia but fuck. The city is modern but boring as hell and badly designed. Unlike Rio, where there are many other things to do that can distract your attention.

I actually didn't hang out alone there. I had a girl with me the whole time since transportation is necessary and it was only one weekend. However my girl was so friendly that she met a few people for us. The other girls were also from Brasilia touring Goias. We didn't find parties but we did bang several times.
Here's a side note: I waited at the airport for 6 hours for my flight and noticed many hotties walking through. It's a small airport and people generally don't arrive for tourism. Therefore Brasilia has talent and a good university.

Yes, the girls in Brasilia arent the hottest in Brazil, but they are friendly, sexy and as you said there is talent. Hoping the 2nd time will be even better than the 1st.

How would you compare Natal to Brasilia? I'm thinking of going to Natal next. The first girl which was interested in me was from Natal and she chased me hard after hanging out one day, she even offered to buy me airfare to Natal. Should I take the offer? She's a 5 so I'll probably pass. I wrote my first message while I was sleepy so it was incomplete. One place I can highly recommend in Rio which is not flooded with tourism is Niteroi. It's worth a day visit, if not more, by ferry from Praca XV by Centro.

Natal is an attractive city that is growing with beaches, girls in bikinis, tourists, and relaxation. Brasilia is an unattractive city that is hot, dry, boring, spread out and full of hard working people. I stayed in Joao Pessoa for 2 months and a couple of days in Natal. But the people, beaches and lifestyle are very similar, except that Natal has alot more tourists and a higher level of infrastructure that comes with it.
But I felt, at the end of my trip, that I enjoyed JP and Brasilia the same and would be happy to come back and live in either. Though it sounds way better to stay by the beach.... the attitude and friendliness of brasilia girls made up for the unattractiveness of the city.

Hey everybody..its been a while since last time I posted here. I've been traveling a lot around Brazil for the last months.

If I were you, I would choose anywhere with a beach..Vitoria, Vila Velha, Rio or a city in Nordeste will provide a unique and fun experience for you.

Just don't expect Brazil to be easy when it comes to girls, it depends on the region ,but the country as a whole is developing as a capitalist society, which means more fat people and higher bitch shields.

Brazil is one of the BEST country in the world for women.

Its just guys expect to go there and be fucking gisele like models after a week and then say how shit it is when that doesn't happen. So don't listen to it, go and enjoy.

Hey Mr. GM glad your back. Eastern Europe and FSU has been all the rage since you last posted. Im heading back to Brazil for the 4th time, and wanting to see how this development has affected Brazil. Lets hope the negative hype has been exagerated.

GM, through your travels throughout Brazil, what cities or regions have suffered the most from the increasing chubbiness of Brazilian girls and which less?

If you plan on staying in BSB and want to make the most of it, you'd need a car as that city was not made for people but for cars since everything is so spread out and it's so freaking hot during the day and cabs can add up very quickly. Or do as I did when I was in BSB, met a nice girl who had her own wheels and she would drive me everywhere. She even offered me to take her car while she was at work. And in BSB, given the wealth of the people, you have a good chance of meeting a girl with a car.
Good luck and report back on the scene in BSB. I haven't been in a long time and I do plan on returning in the spring for a friend's wedding.

Yes VP I remember when I first went there a year and a half ago and I read your data sheet before going. You were dead on about the car situation, the dry heat and cabs being damn expensive. I met a mix of girls who took the bus or subway (most lived in the satellite cities) and who had their own cars (most of these lived within the central plano piloto which is way more expensive to live in).
I managed to get around the logistics problem somewhat, by living in the plano piloto (asa sul) very near to Patio Brasil and Brasil Shopping. That is where I met most of the girls, since they are used to going there all the time. The ones with cars where easier to bang, but when I had to bring a girl back to my pad (who didnt have a car)
it didnt cost much taking a cab, since I lived close. When I was alone I would just take the bus.
When you talk about a girl wanting to lend you her car, that is the type of behavior I witnessed with alot of Brasilia girls too....very friendly, open minded and trusting. Had a few girls who offered me to stay in their apartments, instead of me paying for mine. That is why I am headed back but this time with my younger brother. Though didnt particularly like the city, the overall experience there was very enjoyable.

In a couple of weeks I will give you some insights. Brasilia, as the capital, will definitely show signs of decline if that is the overall trend in the country. Also, I was in SE Asia for almost 5 months this year and it was a blast. So it will be a tough decision for you kazz,

Suffered more: Rio,Fortaleza,Florianópolis,Salvador
Less affected: Vitória, Curitiba, Belo Horizonte and 2nd,3rd tier cities.
