I doubt the younger guys are doing much better. They work 80+ hours a week and are generally nerdy finance types. If they get any decent pussy, it is because they pay for it via escort services.

While that may be somewhat true. I would think this would be common knowledge for guys who have been paying attention over the past few years.

I don't know about this thread. I have 5-6 friends that work for HSBC, Goldman, and JPMorgan and they pull pretty high quality pussy when they do get out with their American counterparts. Granted most these guys are late 20s, and pretty good looking, its like caged lion syndrome. i've said this before but i think dudes really, really overrate money when it comes to girls. yes girls are materialistic, but it isn't sexually how they're wired and it doesn't turn them on in and of itself.

I know lots of people in banks too and they're just nerds who put down big bucks for models and bottles (the correct order). Your standard ibanker/trader is a nerd who thinks that getting a good job is more important than being cool. He won't have any social skills and will be annoying to talk with because he thinks he's cooler than he is and will have few opportunities to talk about anything besides work. And despite what others may think, ibank work is retarded, it's just putting shit into excel spreadsheets and fixing formatting on powerpoint slides. Traders are a bit more interesting and better to hang with. But most of them are even bigger nerds since trading selects for math geeks even more than ibank. Hell, all of finance is full of geeks. I'm not saying all bankers are boring people but if i had to make a bet, i'd go with nerd.

For example, one of my best friends/wing man and I have been at clubs where we make friends with the banker nerds. Since they're so happy to have someone talk with them, they'll let you sit with them and drink their booze. We'd then take the girls who also weren't really into the guys either except for the free drinks. At the end, we'd all leave and they'd pick up the bill. If you swing it right, they'll invite you out again since you're so fun to be around.

I completely agree with everything you just said. But I do think the guys that are really running shit and are high up on the food chain in the finance/banking game HAVE to have decent social skills/network. These are the guys that are essentially gaming investors and traveling giving presentations. Just think if these cats are convincing multi millionaires to invest in whatever their current bank is peddling, gaming an attractive girl should be a walk in the park. Especially when these cats have built in social circles in NYC with girls BEGGING to be wined and dined by the "in crowd".

While I do agree MD's and higher ups have better social skills, they've usually married the first girl they could find that could put up with their shitty lifestyle for the money. Also just because they might be hot shit at work doesn't mean they're pulling girls. Many times the only reason these guys act aggressive at work is because they have the organization authority to be powerful. Take a way the title, they'll be kittens. One of the biggest lies that props up the current version of American society is that money or "prestige" is the key to getting access to more and/or better pussy. Fact is that the lifestyle required to have many of the careers that can lead to great wealth leaves you with very little time to pursue outside interests, including studying game and chasing girls (or god forbid taking a long vacation to see the world or have a fulfilling experience).

Yeah there may be some women who are attracted to someone with a "baller" bankroll, but if you're busting your ass 80 hours a week you're just not going to have a chance to run into many of those women in the first place, and even when you do meet them, your game's not going to be as tight because you spend most of your time working instead of approaching girls. It's a huge opportunity cost that goes outright unrecognized by a lot of people who think that slaving away to eventually make the big bucks is a good long-term plan for getting lots of ass or a hot girlfriend/wife.

I see this also in my field (medicine). Lots of med students settle for long-term girlfriends in the 5-7 range (often other med students whose schedules are as crazy as theirs) because it's perceived as too much work to go out and chase pussy constantly when they need to be studying or waking up at 4am for their call shift or whatever. Even the attending physicians who have supposedly "made it" end up marrying mediocre-looking chicks (again, often other doctors) because even after residency they're still working 60-80 hours or more and have little control over their work schedules because they're constantly beholden to their patients, the hospital, and what have you. And this is after completing 4 years of medical school and 3-7 years of residency/fellowships, when you're likely to be in your early-mid 30s! Yeah, you're a hotshot surgeon making over 200K now but you missed out on a lot of experiences to get there, your wife still looks like a horse, and your life still sucks.

Probably the best thing that Roosh and this forum have done for my life (beyond even learning game) was waking me up to this reality and enabling me to reorient my goals before it's too late. I am absolutely certain beyond any doubt now that I'm going into one of the "lifestyle" specialties without a particularly tough residency and where I can control my work hours to the point where I'm only working the amount required to comfortably support a life of frequent travel and other worthwhile experiences. The guys in the slide are in their 50's and 60's plus - they come from a generation where people marry in their early 20's right out of college and are much more likely to stick together for the rest of their lives (at least true at the time they're getting married); a different game altogether than now. Back then starting a family was actually a *gasp*, top priority for young people. This fact seems to be surprising to a lot of Gen X/Yers.
