Roosh is wrong about one thing...
Roosh's Iphone piece was spot on, HOWEVER, even though he is 100% right on most of it, he's overly pessimistic and wrong on one thing: The IPhone culture will not spread throughout the world or last in America.
As for love, as long as your getting money you have the ability to move, that's where you will find love. The world is chaotic, we are drowning in debt, peak oil is on the horizon, and no one knows what's going to happen in the next hundred years. However, I have some predictions about game.

The rule of the woman hamster, 1990-2012 (basically my lifetime) will come to an end either slowly or abruptly because life will get harder. The single cock carousel girls will die out AND as life gets harder girls will flock to those who can provide FOOD and SHELTER. The American economy is going through real hard trouble. You want love? If you are youngish and a decent enough person WITH a couple hundred grand in the bank and a stable source of income there are still plenty of countries where the women of your dreams will line up to be in love with you AND this will happen again in America because the entitlement system will collapse. It is designed to. Collapse meaning SS will become 1/5th of what they payout now. Obamacare or something like it is just RATIONING because the government knows its living standards must and will drop substantially in the next 20 years. People will do anything just to SURVIVE. The IPHONE chick culture Roosh describes, while spot on, will not spread all over the world because it is not economically feasible. The power will shift to the men, who, gasp, have money and resources. Women for the most part cannot run households or are makers of wealth. They are like children, hence, the phrase "women and children".

My advice? Ignore the idiot western women. Focus on getting ahead. Read about economics. Understand the difference between fiat money and gold and silver money. Also, try to relocate from America. Elite bankers, corporate leaders, rich families, politicians, are betting on turmoil, investing in farmland, buying guns, etc...No the world will not end on 2012. Smart people are preparing for the world that will be AFTER 2012 (or 2013, 2014...). The 20 something hot chick in America on her Smartphone , that culture will last but only for a very few.
Someone else has the tagline: "You never lose money chasing money and You always lose money chasing women." It's true, as long as your stockpiling SUBSTANTIAL money. If your chasing quarters and nickels, well, I suggest you make a change...

RE: Roosh is wrong about one thing...
I don't really see any basis for these predictions. America is a very rich country and can survive a lot of economic stagnation. The real determining factor to what the future will look like is the rate of technological change. The reason that even poor people have flat screens and smartphones is because those things have become very cheap to make. The reason that education and healthcare are such problems is that those things are very expensive to provide, at least in their present form.

Also, the other problem with your theory is that poor women tend to make much worse decisions regarding men than upper middle class and rich women. Marriage is still a somewhat strong institution among the upper classes. And those women tend to pick men based on their provider abilities and social acceptance. There are already lots of women in this country who can't survive on their own and they tend to make the worst mating decisions. The reason being that the state is the ultimate beta provider. And I don't see that changing anytime soon.

To come full circle, the current state of things can go on for a very long time. At some point we will have to face up to our fiscal situation, but we can likely muddle along with only small changes for the next thirty or forty years There's no historical precedent for a society just coming apart over the course of ten to twenty years. Maybe some of the pre-Colombian American societies, but we don't know enough about what happened to them.

Wrong. Do you have anecdotal evidence based on recent first-hand travel experiences?

I do. These women, when they do get their hands on one of these devices are WORSE than American girls with these toys.

Depends on the culture and socioeconmic factors. In Brazil, it is destroying the women. In SE Asia, for example, there are certain counterweights that temper women becoming complete attention whores.

Maybe a good long term strategy is getting your apocalypse skills together, but until you're fighting off zombies, adjusting your strategy to OkCupid/iPhone addicted bitches is key.

Nope, your perspective is ridiculously narrow. Smartphones are just the latest volley in killing women's ability to love a man who would love her. It didn't start in 1990, and it won't end this year. Unless we reverted to using whale blubber for lighting, this stuff isn't going away any time soon. And I agree with j r's comments.

RE: Roosh is wrong about one thing...
@ OP- you are the one who is wrong. I have travelled thoroughout the world. IPhone culture is spreading ridiculously fast. Last year, Beijing (China) and Ulanbaator (Mongolia), the youth has wholesale adopted smartphone. Arguably, at a far more ridiculous prices than in the US. In Ulanbaator, iphone cost 2x US Prices w/average "good salary" in Ulan-baator as 500-1,000 dollars/month. Beijing- similar cost breakdown.

PS. I agree with basilransom. There are a variety of factors, but in my opinion the two most pernicious factors are breakdown of family unit (young people moving out of the parents house and in with friends) and naive optimism (people who believe what the media/friends tell them without critical thought).

WIA- For most of men, our time being masters of our own fate, kings in our own castles is short. Even those of us in the game will eventually succumb to ease of servitude rather than deal with the malaise of solitude

Meh, this article didnt make a big impact with me. I want fewer girls getting married and for girls to have fewer societal constraints on casual sex. The iPhone girl is my best friend, because Im out to bang her the first night I meet her and then have her not get attached. I dont ever want a relationship and the penis barrage smartphone distraction machine wont much affect my single-night seductions but it will make it easier for her to get over me. win-win?

Edit: Anyone who espouses metal-standard money doesnt understand modern economics.

RE: Roosh is wrong about one thing...
I partially agree with the OP. He's right to note the importance of travel and looking outside of the sandbox.

He is wrong to predict the end of I-Phone culture (smartphone tech is cheap and only getting cheaper, its spread is very viable economically like it or not), and also incorrect with regards to his prediction about the fallout following the sluggish economic growth we're seeing. Poorer girls don't make better decisions in the presence of a strong state that can shield them from consequences, especially when said state presides over a permissive, highly individualistic culture).

He then goes on to argue that the USA will not maintain this strong, paternal and protective state, but I have my doubts about this. The USA will likely maintain a strong state for quite some time to come (I'm not betting against America in these coming decades, and I don't think you should either). The highly individualistic/permissive culture will also remain.

It is true that many parts of the world will remain shielded from some of the worst hamster-strengthening developments we're used to here in the west because they will lack the wealth and strong, not-too-corrupt, centralized state that we have (read: no state to act as protector for women regardless of what they do). The reality is that the developments we see in the west are actually the result of women having the protection and enabling of a strong state, combined with great wealth (western nations are rich nations, generally).

So long as it is true that not all nations will be able to maintain these things (many will remain poor at any given time, many will have decentralized and/or weak states, many will also maintain less individualistic/permissive cultures than seen in the west, etc), OP is right to note that there will always be places where a stable income and some wealth will get you further with attractive women than they would in the USA today.

He's just wrong to assume that the USA will become one of those places anytime soon. IPhone chicks aren't going anyplace-get used to them. Smartphones are not expensive enough to be blocked by economic recession.

?????????????

We've been "coming apart" for decades already. We've already been spending more than we make for many years.

Going trillions in debt is NOT stagnation, it's devastation for generations to come.

Wow, that's an awful lot of question marks. How about an actual argument?

It's easy to throw around a word like devastation, but what does that actually mean? Make an actual verifiable prediction about what you think is coming.

Here's mine: politicians will continues to pretend to care about our fiscal situation, but since people like free government goodies, politicians won't do much. Eventually, they will have to do something and government services will start to decline and taxes will start to rise. That sort of thing can go on for a very long time.

"Make an actual verifiable prediction about what you think is coming."

Something like the Greek riots only a LOT worse...we don't have a European Union to bail us out, and we have HUGE subclasses of parasites and predators. Generations of people that are entirely disconnected from doing anything useful for society, and a massive feminazi backed Kleptocracy that will just keep hammering the few productive Herbs left.

"That sort of thing can go on for a very long time"

I hope so, but I have a feeling it's going to crash hard within our lifetimes, just too much of the system is too flawed, and too many entrenched people too good at taking, taking, taking. When single moms can't afford their Iphones, who do you think is going to have to pay up? If you think it's the workng stiffs of America, you're right, whether the want to call it a Domestic Violence intitiative or whatever, Herbs got to pay. It may stagger along for a while, but it won't resembe the America we grew up with, it will just be another Third World shithole.

The disconnect between those that make and those that take is just too big.

"There's no historical precedent for a society just coming apart over the course of ten to twenty years."

Tell that to the people of Rwanda or Bosnia.

"How about an actual argument?"

tl;dr - My argument is that astronomical govenrnment debt, much of it investing in stuff that actively hurts a society will eventually hurt when the bill comes due.

Here's what you do. Go look at the components of the federal budget. And what you'll see is that the amount of money that we spend on defense spending and middle-class entitlements is a lot more than what we spend on social services to the poor.

The 2012 federal budget contains the following expenditures:

Social Security - $779 billion
National Defense - $716 billion
Social Services spending - $580 billion
Medicare - $484 billion

I don't like the welfare state. A lot of these programs do more to trap people in poverty than move them towards self-sufficiency. And a lot of this is just to make liberal do-gooders feel good about themselves. That being said, blaming the poor for our fiscal problems is deeply misinformed.

The government will continue to squeeze the middle class in order to keep the money flowing to the underclass because they know that regular middle class white people aren't going to riot, they will just scrape by and continue to make due with less. People like to fantasize about the EBT cards being "turned off" but the reality is that's never going to happen. The government will just continue to take more from the productive herbs, as you put it and there's a -lot- more they can take. What is actually going to happen is a slow agonizing rot.

Another thing I think is important to remember is that the real "takers" are the NY/London bankers, crony corporate CEOs, university administrators/professors, etc -- a whole lot of people who think that they are "makers" because they "made" a lot of money.

RE: Roosh is wrong about one thing...
I didn't say the IPhone culture will die completely, just that it won't spread to every inch of the globe. It will last only for rich western girls really. Someone said they are focusing on getting laid TODAY. Well, I am too. I can get laid whenever I want at some bars here in St. Louis, but I like EE girls better, and because when I move over there permanently I want to be set up well, right now I'm focused more on getting ahead.

I said Roosh was wrong about ONE thing and I meant that, only that Iphone culture will not spread EVERYWHERE. Sure, sex is available in America, but I actually like loyalty and you can get that with better quality girls than in the states oversea's, so, for me, its a no brainer. No, America will not turn into MadMax land overnight, but the living standard in the United States will fall because the fed has been artificially inflating our living standard for around a decade piling on massive debt and the chickens will come home to roost.

You can choose to bury your head in the sand about this, but that won't stop reality from kicking you in the ass as you snort up sand.

Your profile says you've only visited 3 countries. I'm at 20+ now and I've seen in all of them how Apple is the ultimate status symbol desired by most local populations, both male and female. I'm afraid that your experience does not give you any authority on this matter, and seems to be more wishful thinking than anything else.

And a lot of this is just to make liberal do-gooders feel good about themselves. That being said, blaming the poor for our fiscal problems is deeply misinformed.

This is very true. Having seen and experienced extreme poverty firsthand, it's really a devastating situation and our current approach is NOT sustainable even in the short-term. The poor usually (about 90%) "leech" off "handouts" because they can't do anything else. How do you support a family off of minimum wage? Or even yourself? Try living off $15,000 a year, with the knowledge that this is what you're going to have for the rest of your life. It's a devastating, soul-crushing situation.

The poor are an ignored demographic, even worse than men. The root of why American society is so female centric is because everyone else has dropped out. The poor have no money and therefore don't count. Men don't spend as much so they don't count. Women spend like crazy, so they count. It's a consumer society, and unsustainable (and stupid). Ads that target these demographics, even if they don't spend as much, would probably do better. Or have you noticed how the bulk of Obama's campaign has been towards middle class women?

In the meanwhile, the thing we need to do is find a way to break the smartphone bond. I assume we can treat the smartphone as a passive cockblocker? I've personally considered the "wow...your phone is more important than a conversation with another human being. how childish" line. Let's quit bitchign and start brainstorming.

RE: Roosh is wrong about one thing...
Maybe I'm wrong. But this is something I know for certain. Culture will be different in 20 years. Think about what culture and dating was like in 1992 compared to today. I don't know what it was like because I was 2 years old, but I'm assuming it was very different. People in their 20's live in interesting times and the one thing that is constant is that things will continue to change. The big thing is the ability to adapt. Roosh, i completely respect that you've been to 20+ countries and you can see the trend towards Americanization, but I'm just saying there is no way it can get as bad as it is here in the states everywhere. Even if it does some new thing will come along and change everything up again.

Maybe it is just wishful thinking. The biggest thing that concerns me is not the phone though. I don't want our fatness epidemic exported. I can deal with lots of skinny chicks on their phones, it's the landwhales I'm most concerned with.
