At these parties men are given padlocks, women are given a key each.

The men approach the women and ask them to see if their key fits his lock. If it does, you go and get another one. There's raffle tickets given out and prizes to be won at the end.

I guess the lock and key thing is a way to eliminate approach anxiety.

Have any of you guys ever been to any of these kind of events? Any tips as to what to say to a woman?

I've been to a few, and the first time I went, there were some really attractive women, but the problem is that a lot of them get surrounded by guys so I wouldn't even get a chance to say hi.

I tend to find that most of the women at these parties are professionals, I've come across accountants, doctors, lawyers at these events.

I went to one many years ago here in London, I was of the blue pill mind at the time and I just found it to be an absolute waste of time. Even now I still think it's a waste of time and would rather go to a bar. The best way for you to eliminate approach anxiety is to approach approach approach.

When i first started out in game I was given a task. At the start of each day cut of a piece of paper in 20, the aim being you had to get rid of these pieces of paper by the end of the day.

First 5 approaches - approach anyone, man or woman and ask an indirect question - time or direction being the best, no need to engage in a conversation
Second 5 approaches - approach 5 women of any quality, you can use the time/direction questions again but stack at least once in each approach
Third lot of 5 approaches - approach 5 good looking women, and do the same as above
Fourth lot of 5 approaches - approach 5 good looking women and open directly or indirect-direct.

Time question - does anybody still do that in this day and age? Everybody has phones now with the time on them...

Yeah people do, just ask for directions, you're a british guy in a new country.
