One of my best buds asked me the other day for advice on a situation.

Here is the situation: Guy has been dating girl for 9 months. He is an alpha guy, no problem picking up girls, however he is loyal to this one. He is high status, good shape, good looking, earns 6 figures in an interesting/dangerous field. He is 30, she is 22 (legit 8.5 by the highest standards). I would honestly say they have equal value, him possibly more.

The other day she mentioned to him that her university girlfriends from another town are organizing a week long vacation for spring break, I think in march or something and she really wants to go but her schedule might conflict with that date. He said he played it off and said hope the schedule works out for her, and that a trip with the boys to miami would likely occur if so (not bitterly he says).

Anyway, knowing the true nature of girls, (hes fucked girls with BF's on trips) he's secretly a little perturbed by the whole idea and it is actually bothering him. We talked about it, and I told him it sounded kind of like a shit test, and for him to be cool about it. But if the trip actually were to go down and became officially planned, I'm not sure how I would feel about it in his shoes. Tell her shes not going or let it slide. On one hand, if a girls going to cheat she will, but on the other letting your girl go into a situation where she will be drinking, far away, and likely meet other guys is an obvious opening she will get banged despite what she would even believe herself, no matter how awesome the dude is, thats just asking for trouble. What would you guys give as advice, protect the chick from herself, or let her go and risk the real potential of getting cheated on/spin some other plates/break up

No way she has equal value to him. 22? Fresh college grad with a bullshit major possibly? (Unless she want to a real school and did a hard degree to be in a real field).

She is only of value while young and loyal.

Definitely a classic shit test - albeit subconsciously for her - because it's normal for Western chicks to want to go party with their girls.

I think the SOP on this board would be in this situation since he seems to be commited - is to lay down the law directly and firmly but not in a rude manner. I.E. You shouldn't go - you should spend the time with me, etc.

Any chick worth her salt would prefer to spend time w/ her man. Clearly she is being influenced by her young party hens. If she does go. Down grade seriously on the "relationship" scale and treat her like any fling.

easy answer: tell him to play up the boys trip to miami. like the last time they went, how much fun they have, how his friend hooked up with this chick the last time, how girls always approach them when they're at a bar getting drinks. basically, the subtext is that if she's not there, he's gonna get laid like a mofo.

make her the one insecure about him going on the trip without her.
