That street was probably el calle de pizza. It's rather infamous with the locals as it is where gringos go to pick up the local girls. And the result is an interesting mix of whores and girls looking to party on a 'rich gringo's' tab.
On the other hand if you go to calle Berlin there are some nice clubs without the whores and pimps. Just saying... that's not my scene...

Nope, it wasn't calle de pizza. I remember that one now too. A bit sleazy though.
The street i speak is close to the plaza des armas. i think there is a data sheet on the forum.

Soooo, where did you meet her? Online, bar, club, etc. which bar? Weekend/weekday? etc.

One night stand? take a few dates?

I don't want her address and phone number or anything, but if someone tells me they found a hot girl in ____city and banged her for 4 days, it would be nice to know where he found her.

I appreciate all the data you've dropped. I love Peru and I am cosidering spending months there every year, hence my badgering peeps for info.

As far as ugly girls wanting to save the world. I met a few of these in India. A Finnish and Swedish girl both right out of college, going to teach or do good things in Indian villiages where they would be the only white girls in the whole villiage. They were facinated with Indian culture and had paid a company to arrange for them to come and do volunteer work. My guess is they'd be getting tons of Indian dick before the first two weeks were over. I wonder how many of these girls go back home with Indian babies?

I was in nazca twice, first time i went there on the way to Lima but it was very cloudy, so i didn't risk paying over a 100 dolla for a flight. Second time the weather was good and i took the most expensive flight to see the most, the small plane made a lot of turns and i threw up in side the plane ( in a bag)
The lines itself are interesting and nice to see once but i wouldn't go very far of route to see them. Its not that special.

Lima has bars, but I'd be hard pressed to remember the names of any of them. There are 3 "districts" you'll find bars, and we just bar-hopped, so naming them won't happen.

I think Calle the pizza is not a gringo hunter place but more a (freelance) hooker place. At least thats the impression i got there.

Barranco is a good street to go out but it has a young crowd. At least 8 clubs there in a 200 meter street, just walk in and out a few until you find one you like.

One of my favorite bars in Lima is Santos in Barranco. It's next to the famous Bridge of sighs, Puente de los Suspiros. It's basically a lounge with a bunch of different rooms and a couple of balconies. I went on a Saturday night. Really good looking crowd, mostly late 20s. Basically a similar crowd you would see in Aura/Gotica, maybe a little older. Night I went there was a lot of tourists too. I hooked up with an Asian chick from Cali.

El Dragon in Barranco is good too. Wednesday night is the best I'm told by locals, I went on a Friday night it was pretty good too. Stylish, hipster Peruvian chicks. Mostly early 20s. 30 soles ($10) cover. Really good DJ. Personally I can't really listen to salsa/ merengue for too long, this place was a godsend. Go wearing your favorite band's tshirt.

Damn, you guys are rough. I kind of understand the criticism because I didn't break it down into a data sheet with exact street addresses with GPS coordinates but I did give enough details. And when I said "Its not that hard", I meant it. Girls are everywhere and you won't have problems finding them.

1. Gotica in , Miraflores, Larco Mar shopping center, (taxi directions - "say Lacro Mar" Lima Peru -- you'll find the hottest most upscale girls here http://www.gotica.com.pe/

2. Calles de Barranco, Barranco District Lima (taxi directions - say "Calles de Barranco" ) - Its a street full of bars. All you need to do is walk down it. I couldn't tell you which bar to go in, because they are all essentially the same just go in the one with the most girls.

3. Playas Silencio, Caballeros, Senoritas - Again I can't get too specific here because there are temporary bars/raves set up during the summer. It might change from year to year, but you'll be able to see them set up. Ask people, follow the music..there will be plenty of girls around..

just finishing up a week in lima

didnt get around to doing as much partying and going out as originally planned due to work obligations and a bad case of food poisoning. those of you with sensitive stomachs should skip the ceviche.

went out to club called Gotica in larcomar shopping centre in miraflores one night. crowd consisted of mostly upper class white looking peruvians with couple of gringos. there were a lot of attractive girls with several stunners. the place isnt particularly conducive to one night stands though. it seemed to me more like several groups of rich peruvians who were only interested in talking to people in their circle.

there is another club in larcomar called Aura which ive been told draws a similar crowd as gotica, perhaps slightly older, and has more house music. Bartini in larcomar has been closed down.

on saturday we went to the infamous calle de las pizzas next to the kennedy park. lots of bricheras (girls looking for gringos) and straight up prostitutes. most of the girls there are not particularly attractive though there is the odd cute one. we went to VIP (salsa and meringue) and Sabor Peruano (mix of latin and western music). most bars and clubs in calle de las pizzas are what i would describe as dives, vomit in toilets etc

several girls came up to me. ended up talking to and dancing with the prettiest one. looked like it was all going good, she didnt mind my grabbing her t&a on the dancefloor, but when i suggested we go to my hotelbar for a drink she got offended and left!! wtf

anyway, Lima is a pretty nice place, friendly people, cheap and great weather. next time here will prob also check out the nightlife in Barranco.
