Do any of you guys ever chase after a "wrong phone #"?

A buddy of mine is suggesting leaving a note @ her door (she put her address into my GPS - gave her a ride home from the bar). There was great chemistry going on kissing, feeling, etc., Logistics just didn't allow for a SNL but we ended the night with her tongue down my throat, and repeated times of saying "call me".

I couldn't begin to guess if she honestly f'd up putting her # into my phone or did it purposely. It did look like she double checked it. Her phone was dead (I saw it die out) so I couldn't test dial then. Do I wait a week and see if she shows back @ the bar (she says she doesn't go out often) or show up at her house & leave a note in the mailbox/door.

show up at her door and hope she's there. but i hope you have your shit together and are not developing a oneitis, there's nothing wrong with showing a bit of persistence though as long as it doesn't come from a place of scarcity.

How did logistics fuck you if you went with her to her front door? If you really must leave her a letter I'd put it in her mailbox or something so it looks like you sent it via post rather than went all the way to her front door.

I'd say move on mentally but give yourself a lifeline in the very-off-chance she's wondering why you aren't texting her. Leave a note in her mailbox. Say you were "in the neighborhood" but probably won't be there again for a long time, and leave your number. If she texts you, game from there. But don't expect anything from her again. And only do this if her house is on the way to somewhere you need to go... semi-pedestalization is bad enough, if it's totally out of your way don't even bother.

Also, if you do this and she doesn't respond, don't go to that bar again unless it's with a girl.

EDIT: WC's method of mailing the letter is probably better overall.

Honestly for girls that are flaky I just fuck around, because its funny, I would send shit that does not make any sense, I don't care if they reply or not because I know I can go to the bar or club and pull. If you are waiting on her every text than you will probably project desperation.
