Urinal problem
Guys, its been since sunday that whenever I go to pee I feel that I still have something left, and I feel comstant pressure to pee even though I had already emptied my bladder.

Thats my only symptom, it is not painful but it is uncomfortable.

I am a so far healthy 26year old male, I workout 5x week and I eat like 220grs of protein and I weigh 160 pounds.

Googling I have arrived to two diagnosis: urinal tract infection or cystitis, related but not the same. I have just bought 1 gallon of unsweetened cranberry juice to treat myself.

Should I go to a doctor? Opinions?

Thanks in advance.

RE: Urinal problem
Are you constipated? Slow bowels can lead to pressure on the prostate which can reduce total urine expulsion.

Are you doing too many PC/kegel exercises lately?

Have you injured yourself in the kegel muscle region, or (god forbid) shoved anything up your ass?

Have you taken any "male libido" supplements lately?

Honest questions.

Honest questions.

1.- My normal state is constipated, I shit like 4x a week
2.- no, as usual whenever I remember to do them
3.- haha no, how do you injure your kegel muscle? My ass is sacred.
4.- no but I was planning to pop a cialis this weekend.

Thanks

RE: Urinal problem
Cialis shouldn't have an effect on urine flow but can assist in BPH -- if you pop a pill and see relief, update here. BPH should NOT be happening at 26, though.

You CAN injure your kegel muscles by overdoing the exercises. Probably happens more than people realize.

How is your diet? Do you eat a lot of "junk" inflammatory foods? Prostate issues CAN creep up early, but that's really not likely. Don't get all hypochondriatic on us, ha.

A high protein diet can have urinary problems -- high protein can lead to dehydration. Also, if you've stopped heavy lifting recently, your body will start retaining water to replenish glycogen stores that used to be used up during heavy weights.

What does your urine look and smell like? Does it have a hazy look, and an foul odor?

If it is dark, then you might be dehydrated. With that much protein and an active lifestyle you should be drinking a lot of water. Even if you're young and healthy your kidneys can be taxed by protein supps.

And if you continue to have urinary retention then I'd go see a Dr.
