So since I've been into game, I haven't really tried this because we just don't really have books stores to game at where I am, but I can see how it would be a good idea. My friend was telling me today that her brother does it and he will see what the girl is reading and go look for the book in the store, read the back and find out some info, and go back to the girl and say how much he loved the author and the book. I thought this was a pretty cleaver trick. Just thought I'd share it.

Nice.

My only concern would be engaging the girl in a conversation about the topic when you don't know much else. For example, if you approach a girl checking out Warren Buffet and don't know much about Finance. Sure you can steer the conversation to something else, but I think you need to establish some credibility first.

Ha! Yup, I can vouch for this technique. It works also on girls at cafes that may be reading a book you know about.

I once saw a girl in Medellin reading rich dad poor dad, and was able to effortlessly open since I read the book. I banged her 4 nights later.

It's obviously best to do this when the girl isn't very far through the book and doesn't know much about what it's about.

I wouldn't do this about a book I know nothing about. If she says, "oh really, can you believe when such and such a thing happened. What do you think about that?" Then you're standing there like a deer in the headlights. Why not just run normal game?

Nope. This is exactly when you turn the tables, and mess with her emotions as a woman!

"Ok - you got me (smiling confidently), is it so wrong to make an effort to know this book, if the reward is connecting with a girl who would love to meet an interesting gent like me, yet failing to approach gives me the immediate danger of not letting destiny decide our fate" :-)

Then you move quickly to another topic, and lure her into your sinister plan of banging her by nights end!

Lie, change topics. Past weekend, wore an athlete's warm up jacket that had a university sports team emblazoned on it. When girls asked the obvious, I'd lie through my teeth about being on the team, and change subject when they'd ask questions.

Or just say, "yeah, I was totally lying, it was an excuse to come talk to you." Might be better to lie and hook her a little more.
