It's a chicken-egg thing. Gen Y/Z girls are abrasive because guys of that generation don't keep them in line. But because Gen Y/Z girls are so abrasive, their guys are afraid to approach.
 
Older cats can probably recall a time (pre-Facebook/smartphones) when bars and clubs were more meat markets and less social-circle oriented. Girls had less ego and were more down-to-earth (no non-stop attention/validation via  Facebook/smartphones).
 
Back then you could run Mystery Method-style "most interesting man in the world" game and keep a girl's attention and not have all the girlies she texted earlier show up and cockblock. The post-1990 generation is too ADD for this, and only RSD-style "Super Aggressive Talk-Dance Hybrid Game" game will work.

Bars and clubs are more cutthroat and brutal than ever. Girls are more cocksure and abrasive than in any generation past. Younger players need to overcome (1) big social circles and (2) smartphones. Older cats never had to deal with this in their up-and-coming days, and have enough positive reference points from the past to not get affected by rejection. Not true for today's young up-and-coming players.
 
Roosh commented that his weak rookie game netted in a few lays back in 2002, but would get him blown out in 2012.

I'm of this generation, in a similar age bracket to 'Sleek'.

I wholeheartedly agree with a lot of the points made, but I see it as very much a positive on a personal level and a negative with regards society as a whole.

The more disillusioned girls are with this aforementioned behaviour, the easier it is for guys like us to capitalize.

Hate to hate on the younger demographic, but there's truth here. I think many just wait for stuff to fall in their lap, as its always happened for them. Maybe the perils of an affulent/nanny society. I took my gal to New Orleans for the weekend, enjoying music in one of the bars on Frenchman Street...what do I see? Groups of Gen Y/Z guys sitting around texting! Meanwhile, [email protected] Eurotourists are sitting around on stools waiting to meet people, backs straight with warm inviting smiles. A situation tailor-made for anyone on this site, yet these dudes were making f---ing Instagrams on I phones! Instagrams! With smiling German 7.5s right there! I couldn't believe it. Disgrace to the U-S-A.

I can't blame em. Really they need to have lethal game just to break even. If we make 100 approaches and get 5 bangs, imagine a guy who doesn't approach at all AND doesn't have game?
The younger girls are so annoying. Unless I'm going after a nerdy off-kilter girl who's not as stuck in the facebook mentality, the only thing that works is being vicious. Bringing them down to earth is the only way to get noticed it seems.
I'm in my mid twenties but usually in an environment with 18 year olds, and I feel like I have to be a character, not a person, just to get noticed. Even girls who are five years older fall into my lap by comparison. Somewhere around 2008 I think women stopped being women. And it frustrates me because the only thing they're good for is one thing, the only choice you have is to be an ass, and breaking that shield is going to be the future of game.
Everyone wants to espouse moving to find women not affected by the culture, but it's gonna come, and we've gotta adapt.

With the younger girls it helps me to be animated, demanding, playful teasing, and generally a funny cocky kind of guy. The most interesting man in the world game never works for me. The slow monotonous approach of "getting to know someone" ends up nowhere.

When I'm loud and brash I keep them entertained. It's like being a clown and certainly takes more energy for me than MIMITW game.

On a funny note. I like to make faces and be really animated around them and it keeps them smiling and laughing. 4chan/fit has tons of face images that are perfect in fun drunk conversations. Instead of using words to counter a girls question or statement I usually just make a face at them and it works a lot better. Less logic more animation is my key

I agree with SnakeEyes, I think the closer they are to 18 the more animated and aloof baddass you need to keep their attention (and the shorter their attention spans). Also, take a look at this graph:



This explains why being "almost ADD" works when dealing with these kinds of girls (compared to girls over the age of 26). You can get her attention, dish out some damage, and switch between targets rapidly and this strategy has proven itself in the field for me.

I really enjoy the company of intelligent women. I have a friend that's much better looking than me and in much better shape. He's a MMA fighter. Now he has no problem getting girls. But he's tried to snake 3 of my girls behind my back. All three have told me about his blatant offer of sex and asking them to keep it quiet from me. Funny thing though they all turned him down. They all felt guilty and confessed to me. I have them locked down like that. I'm sure it frustrates the hell out of him. That's why I don't bring my girls to parties anymore.

I know this problem, because I was one of those emasculated males.

Then, I found Roissy and Roosh in late 2010, and everything changed at the age of 18. Before that, I was an ultra beta to my long distance girlfriend. Since then, I've been relatively happy hunting poosy.

There's one problem with the kids these days: The wait till the next milestone problem.

They're in high school? "It's much easier to get girls in college"

They're in college? "I can't wait till I'm 21 and I can go to bars"

Gen Z guy here, born in late 1990.

Approaches are downright scary. Not only that, but other guys fucking hate when you "intrude" on their women. You make one mistake, like a joke that was taken the wrong way, those whiteknights will jump into the fray and "defend" her.

Then there's the whole thing with facebook/twitter/instagram. Even this girl I sorta know, a 6 at best, is getting 28 likes every time she changes her profile picture from guys. One of these guys is my college roommate, and he likes to think he has game. Sorta frustrating to listen to after you've been here.

That said, I'm not sure whether to try or not. I've been making improvements to my life, but the competition is intense. The amount of game to beat out fratbros is ridiculously high, something I have no hope of achieving. For now, avoiding anti-game is all I can do.
