I know more than a few players here are cigarette smokers. For the smoking players, what brand do you usually smoke?

My main cigarette for the last few years has been Camel Crush. I like the menthol flavor better than a regular menthol cigarette. I also wrote on here some time ago that Camel Crush cigarettes are great for players because you have the menthol or non-menthol option.

The girl you want to fuck likes non-menthol cigarettes? Great. The girl you want to fuck likes menthol cigarettes? Awesome, you've got that option, too.

Another observation - clove cigarettes ('Djarum Black' for example) seem to be quite popular among the 18-30 crowd. A particular forum member I've met carries a pack of Djarum clove cigarettes because of this.

I quit smoking four days ago and hopefully will be off those nasty things for good. I had always smoked the Canadian cigs called "Player's" (ya I know, nice name) we can't even get American brand smokes in Canada.

When travelling I usually would smoke Marlboro golds but in the past year I switched to menthol and smoked the Kool white packs with the click capsules in the filter.

Did you ever notice that Marlboros have a slightly different taste outside of the U.S.? One other person has confirmed this with me and we reasoned that either American tobacco is the harshest, or that the conditions (temperature?) in which the ciggs are shipped abroad change something about the tobacco.

As for me - I don't smoke anymore but when I did I preferred Camel Golds - honestly, the perfect blend of tobacco. Apparently they don't taste as good as they used to though... Also, Im not feeling the new box design.

I also used to like buying the soft pack kind. However, every time I went drinking, the remaining ciggs I had the next morning were always all bent / broken / crushed.

I am new to mixing tobacco to my weed, and i dont smoke cigaretes otherwise. Any one got any recs on the best tobacco for splifffs? Loose rollyour own tobacco vs cigarette tobacco? Is one less unhealthy assuming i use a filter?

100%.

They use different tobacco.

I actually think American Marlboros are some of the smoothest.

Mexican Marlboros are harsher. After a few days of surfing big cold water point breaks, huffing Mexican Marlboros, Santa Ana winds and Mexican girls, you always come back tweaked.

Marlboros and other cigarettes for export probably have a different taste because they are rolled with proper paper, and not the newer flame-retardant stuff which was mandated in the US a few years ago.

When I'm at home, I smoke a pipe (it's like a cigar, but cheaper and with a better variety of flavor and nuance) or sometimes a good cigar. Whenever European friends visit the US, I always get them to hook me up with some Cubans.

When I go out, I usually smoke American Spirit cigs, or sometimes Dunhill or Nat Sherman.

Marlboro Gold 72s is my stick of choice. It's also what I roll into spliffs... usually about 30 of a 70/30 mix.

Slightly off topic: it has been a while since I flew, and tomorrow I'm flying from South Florida to SoCal. My big question: can I carry my Zippo through airport security? And how much is a pack of squares there now?

I'd never heard of Player's before. Makes me want to collect vintage tobacco stuff:

When I was a kid I would collect the cards my dad got in his Basic-brand cigarette packs, they usually featured vintage automobiles. My favorite one featured a 1948 Tucker sedan, a car way ahead of its time.

Fujiwara You can not carry a Fuel Filled Lighter like a Zippo on you to the Plane, Do not take it through Airport Security, They can miss it in the screeners and you will be fine or if they detect it , it will be confiscated in which case you can just take the exterior cover. I have had all the situations happen to me.

These days I just my Zippo in my checked luggage or you can also use the Cover that G posted but still would have to put in your checked luggage.

Airport Security caught my Zippo in Germany but let it go as it was out of fuel and didn't even light up.

Howdy G man Any suggetions on Ciagrettes made by a Tobacconist per your Falvour, wouldn't that be a DHV when girls ask you what make are they you respond with " Oh I had them made by a tobacconist in London using such such Tobacco" . I think some one posted about it earlier on the Forum but I don't recall the deatils.

Getting custom smokes would be some James Bond-style cigarette game. 007 style:

Yeah, I remember reading that from the novels. I think it is in the first one, Casino Royale.

To my knowledge, sadly, that place doesn't exist in London anymore.

I think Bond smoked 60 cigarettes per day.

I wonder because I can recall instances where I brought a Bic lighter through security, and instances where I had them confiscated. However, regarding the Zippo, as I'm not going to be checking any luggage, I'll just buy one in Cali, fill it up in a supermarket and leave it for my teenage cousin to find when I leave.

Thanks for the tip though. I'd rather not end up donating a Zippo to TSA

I actually disliked the taste of american Marlboros. Woody, chemical, plastic... like smoking cedar shavings through a drinking straw.

Some corner stores down here used to sell them, I guess they did so for "tax purposes".

My brand of choice was filtered Delicados. I havnt smoked in over two years now.
