Regarding the US. I've always wondered this. Any woman who is considered attractive on POF or OKC. Which isn't very hard on either of those...Just don't be in the same weight class as Buster Douglas, keep your teeth clean, & look decent.

I've noticed a certain percent of them are willing to have you over the first night and skip the actual date. I read somewhere that 90% of men online are looking for sex, and 60% of women are on for that very reason (although they don't need to be, men approach them in real life all the time, even fat women get hit on when they leave the house).

When I was on match, I noticed the women generally expected to be wined & dined more.

On POF, it seems like a majority of them are willing to get down rather quickly - even if they say the contrary in their profile.

So, basically, could women online be a collection of "sluts" opposed to the non-online dating population? I've seen some women on there for years, when they obviously could have had a normal boyfriend easily. There has to be a reason for this. My theory, they've created this idea that no guy is really good enough for them, so they'll just play the field forever and get stuck in that cycle. If they can't literally have a wealthy, tall, classically attractive American guy - then no one is good enough for them in the long term. Some of them get that guy, then they are bored but don't really want an edgy or hipster type guy either, because that is just weird to them.

POF lately seems to be at an all-time high....average users online daytime to evening, over 530K.

I've also noticed, past high school/college, the word "slut" doesn't really get thrown around that much, unless it's a woman insulting another woman. Guys don't really use it, because no one wants to admit they chase sluts, or didn't get a slut if they tried, which could be low game.

Some truly ugly specimens have been in pof for years... I see the same old photo with the identical "looking for my prince" demands time and again. I think online dating and the validation it provides can be an addiction to some girls. They either just play the field, look for something outside their league that never shows up ( most likely in my opinion) or use it as a tool to feel good about themselves without any real intention of meeting a guy.

I think for the truly attractive women, the 8/9's that you see online far & few in between, it's really nothing more than a video game. Seriously, they probably get over 1000 first contact emails every few months - and are still on there years later.

I do think the 6/7s online are sluttier than the non-online 6/7. There's so many thirsty dudes online, that even fat women can get an ego boost there.

Since I've never bothered with the on-line dating thingee, I never paid attention to these threads. Until a few weeks ago when I happened to be in a coffee shop sitting next to two fat girls. I couldn't help listening to their conversation: they were surfing an on-line dating site checking out the men. I thought "Holy shit, the Rooshmen aren't making this stuff up!" and went back to reading.

PoF women are absolute sluts. Nothing fresh about them. One example: chatted to a bird from PoF on Skype today. She's late 20s, but looks early 20s, and has had around 50 guys (which means more like 100). *But*, she assures me, she's *reformed*. She's fed up of being a "player" (her self-description) and is looking for a relationship and marriage - and, she let slip a little later, a "5 or 6" guy gangbang when she's in the right relationship, as long as the guy is ok with it, something "she has always wanted to try".

This from a woman whose profile could have been penned by a nun.

My impression is that many PoF women are slags looking for The One - while fucking multiple cocks on the way to finding The One.

No thanks. I wouldn't even pump-and-dump PoF women. Given their pasts, they must be loaded with STDs. I know STDs are all the rage these days, especially in America, where people seem resigned to contracting at least one, but I don't much fancy getting one.
