LA neighborhoods besides West LA
West LA is simply too pricey.

Planning on moving from the midwest soon.

Considering apts in the following:

in the valley

North Hollywood by the arts district
Valley Village
Studio City (not on Ventura)

in the basin

Koreatown
Thai town by Los Feliz
Hollywood (possibly)

that's about it.

Which would you go with?

Whats your budget?

LA is huge. Can you give us some more detail. Are you moving for school / fun / career etc...if you need to be someplace daily this will really impact where you need to live.

Did you look into a roommate situation?

Good catch Tex - Some dude in Chicago who claims to be moving to LA too worried about the guys in other cities.

He just posted this one similar to the one you found:

Powers,

Elementary tattle-tale tactics hoping to get someone banned for no reason, not very Alpha. LA & Chicago are 2 & 3 in population in the US, and I'm sure I'm not the first guy to express desire in wanting to move to LA from Chicago. It's -2 outside here.

This isn't directed at me, but we have a MAJOR problems with banned members returning to troll this forum, so you have to learn to deal with people being suspicious if something is posted that seems similar to something posted before by a banned member.

Anyways, you need to post more info to give decent advice (like budget).

Also, maybe there should just be a "moving to LA" thread created to avoid having to create so many dupe threads.

Another classic from the Indian race troll.

I can recognize this idiot's writing style with my eyes closed.
