Because girls can afford not to live in the real world, so they don't know or care about what men want. That's why they post pictures where they show how they just cut off all their hair and now look like Miley Cyrus. Or they talk about how they want to be a feminist scholar.

Also they have no incentive to improve their behavior and attitude because 100's of dudes (if the bitch isn't an obese dog) will visit her profile every day and send messages about how beautiful and interesting she is.

It's because they equate the use of sarcasm as having a good sense of humor. Chicks who proudly state that they are sarcastic think they're funny and they use said sarcasm in conversation with all the grace and subtlety of a battle-axe.

Girls believe that men like "feisty" women and are bored by the agreeable ones. They put that on their profile, get messages, and oh, they must be unique and special. Sarcastic also ties into those other adjectives that women believe or want to believe they are like "strong" and "independent". As long as dudes are hungry, these girls will have no clue on how to be desirable.

They're lies mate, I wouldn't worry about it. I've had conversations over the net with some who claimed to be sarcastic who didn't pick up on any of my sarcasm.

I've met up with a few chicks who on their profile wrote about themselves that they love sarcasm and that their humour is really dry and sarcastic and that it would take someone strong to handle their personality, and they have been bland as fuck and not sarcastic in the slightest. I've met up with a couple of girls who also wrote in their profile that they're "not just an average girl" and "more than an average girl" who, when meeting up with them, thought BJs were gross and came across as very inexperienced when it got down to to fucking.

I've met up with about 5 or 6 girls from OKCupid and none of them have been true to what they've written in their profile.

Oh my god, this is so true. I've even called them on it as a way of starting a conversation: "I've noticed you, like many girls on OKC, describe yourself as very sarcastic. Why do you think this is so common? Do you see being very sarcastic as a virtue?"

I think like someone said above, it has to do with women thinking it makes them seem challenging. It's projection. They like men who are challenging, so they assume men like women who are challenging.

The flip side is all the men who describe themselves as "down to earth" or "easy going." Men tend to want women who are low maintenance, so they describe themselves that way.

I've met very few girls who have been able to catch my sarcasm and dark humor unless I make it real obvious or let them know I'm playing around. Even then, they get pissed when you're sarcastic and fucking around with them. Guys catch on right away but girls don't know what being witty and a smart ass really means. Guys also don't get butt hurt like them unless they're real sensitive.

Yeah, no kidding. They flaunt sarcasm and snarkiness as if those are endearing traits. It's been said that sarcasm is the lowest form of humor. It gets old very quickly.

Most girls have profound difficulty recognizing sarcasm. They've been ridiculed by it and by claiming to embrace it, they're attempting to send out an air of superiority to "all the rest" of the silly girls that have no appreciation for it.

Think about it. How many really funny/cool girls do you know? Ones that can dominate a conversation by being bitterly sarcastic... Very few. They only come around once in a blue moon. Chicks know that, for the most part, their behavior is almost unbearable. Guys tolerate their nonsense because they want to fuck them. By saying they're sarcastic, they're trying to say they are a rare exception. I wouldn't believe a word a girl says on her online profile. They write whatever bullshit they think will bring attention, even if it is far from factual.

For example, my ex-girlfriend has a profile on Match.com. It says she enjoys the outdoors, football, running, going to the pistol range, and skydiving.
In actuality, she rarely goes outside. She couldn't name one college football team and has the understanding of the game of a 3 year old. She refers to each team solely by the color of their uniforms, "You like the red team, right?"
"Baby, that's Alabama... The national champs. Roll Tide!"
"Tee hee, uh... What?"
"Meh... Yes, the red ones. I like the red ones."
I dated her for 8 months and never saw her run one single time, in spite of the fact that I am an avid runner and do it 5 times/week and invited her almost every time. She never accepted. Not one time. She had never shot a gun before in her life. I took her shooting one time and after firing 3 rounds she got scared and wanted to go home saying, "It's hard to hold on to when it makes the noise." She has never skydived and gets terrified climbing a ladder to change a light bulb. 80% of everything she has written in her profile is utter non-sense and completely fabricated bullshit.

Women write and talk in code. It's a simple code, and it's the code of the herd.

I have thought about starting a thread called Deciphering the Simple Code of Women.

When women say they are "sarcastic" it means three things.

First, they say that because they want to appear to be down-to-earth grounded realists, as oppose to what most women REALLY are: hindbrain, hormonal driven ovary containers.

Second, women confuse sarcasm with cattiness. Women seek the approval of other women above all, and the approval that women LOVE to share is the catty DISapproval of other women. Because DISapproval of other women is the worst thing a woman can experience. They take huge pleasure in dishing it out because they would experience enormous DISpleasure if they received it.

Third, they conflate sarcasm with ACTUAL gentle negs from an alpha. When they are the receiving end of charming digs, the tingles start. "He's sarcastic, I am getting wet." This reaction also goes hand in hand with the other omnipresent claim that "I love to laugh." No, what they love to do is laugh as the neg needle starts poking little holes in their personality balloons.

It's all code. Game has deciphered that code. Of course, it's an easy code to decipher because it is so simple. It's why every online profile is like every other online profile. They are interchangeable. Women are like huge schools of fish -- they all go one way, and then another, in a cliched unison.
