Interesting article. I would say that its probably true that online dating has made the sexual marketplace better for men. More websites, more members, better variety of girls. But you have to consider that you are also facing a much higher number of white knights, betas, etc.

If you are a reasonably good looking guy with a good personality there is no reason why you can't do extremely well online. I think online game will soon become an integral part of the game itself, if it hasn't already.

The avg guy can't get laid on online.

Its good for the top 5-10% of men but fucks the rest over.

Well obviously nobody ever got laid with that kind of view on things. Maybe the top 5-10% are banging the top 5-10% of women but thats how it is offline anyway. Just make a profile that stands out and is interesting and I don't see why you wouldn't get results.

Well obviously nobody ever got laid with that kind of view on things. Maybe the top 5-10% are banging the top 5-10% of women but thats how it is offline anyway. Just make a profile that stands out and is interesting and I don't see why you wouldn't get results.

I think it's allowed the top tier to cash in on their attractiveness a lot, but the average guy does not see much improvement with the existence of online dating--while in the meantime, even below-average girls are given attention and develop overestimation of their actual value from dating sites.

A guy who is good looking and has the skill set specific to online dating can clean up online

A super good looking guy could do well just with fuck up avoidance game

The deck is stacked against the majority of guys online and they are going to struggle if their goal is to collect notches.However, if their goal is an LTR with an average girl , i think average guys can eventually succeed after a lot of time and work.

I think the evidence is all over the map. This is the 1st time i've read about a guy who has messages waiting in his inbox from chicks who want to be with him. (which makes me think he's as average as Brad Pitt is)

I agree with this. Online dating is pretty easy for me; I am tall and attractive, but not the top tier that's often discussed/delineated in the Roosh site post in the recent past.

One effect has been to make me way less patient than I used to be. I was seeing a pretty sweet girl - cute, blonde, thin, nurse - I met on OKC, but her unwillingness to immediately escalate the physical side of the relationship made me jettison it quickly. I think that, had I met her the old-fashioned way and really put the time in to get to know her, the outcome might have been radically different.
