...you need to immediately go out and pull a new chick. If you don't do this, one-itis will surely set in. Hit up a friend with benefits and take your mind off the chick you really like as soon as possible. Make it a point to go out with your homeboys and hit on new girls. The ideal scenario is that you meet another chick that you like, and you repeat the same cycle. The worst thing you can do is to start sitting around day dreaming about the chick you really like. That's an extremely dangerous spot to be in. I may be preaching to the choir but its always a good thing to reiterate this point.

I wouldn't consider myself a rookie, but not heeding this advice last summer cost me a bang with an 8.5. Such is life!

I damn sure dont consider myself one. If you deal with above average women, you will eventually fall for one of them at some point. It happens and has been happening since the beginning of time. I guess its so many super macks in here tho that that never happens to them, for whatever reason lol

I needed to take this advice about 2 months ago. She shows mad attraction and interest, the most touchy girl I've met in a longgggggg time, then goes cold and distant. She's always been hard to get, saw her 4-5 times in 4 months but everytime was a great time. Then in between she pulls out the excuses of being so busy etc... and now goes completely cold and tells me we need to talk when I ask her on a date again (been persistent).

Fuk her. It's too bad cuz she's a great girl and we know each other threw close mutual friends. Gonna be awkward.

I was basically in the same situation. She constantly telegraphed interest and kino and even her friends told me to play "hard to get" with her to make her go bonkers, but something must have short-circuited in my brain and I regressed to my former LTR self and couldn't keep things live. I was too focused on charming her friends than gaming her with single-minded ruthlessness. Next time I am connecting with the friends on a much more superficial level and not being as afraid of creating controversy among them.

To our credit, it's a lot harder when you are rolling dolo and she has a huge circle of friends among her that she's known for years, the odds are stacked against you. It's a great challenge regardless though.

Solid advice op. a few months ago I made the mistake of shutting down my rotation when I met a girl I really clicked with. Its crazy how easy it is to fall into needy tendencies when she's your only option...

My problem was that this girl is a good girl wifey material. She is also 2 years older than me. We have one mutual friend who is close to the both of us so if shit goes bitter/awkward between us then it'll be weird.

Regardless, I had this image of her as this goody goody girl who likes the charming nice guy (which I am naturally), but she always called me a player and everytime I would flirt/hit on her she would mention me and other girls, etc. She also knows my ex fuk-buddy... So I thought maybe she is going cold/distant sometimes because she is trying to not be vulnerable or naive to my 'game' like "my other victims" (as she says)... so I started giving her a ton of attention, being more forward/direct with her, being even nicer than I already was (which was very nice), etc. When I did see her in person the few times though, it was always touchy and clear attraction between the both of us, no denying that.

Now it's all but gone, haven't seen her since mid december, and she completely ignored my last text message to hang out. I still don't know why or how this went downhill, but it did.

The mutual friend is telling me shit like maybe she isn't ready for a relationship, maybe she doesn't want one, maybe she has a crush on me and liked the idea of me but doesn't like me enough to be serious, etc etc. She's also telling me it's not cuz she thinks I'm a player (guess I was wrong).

I'm left in the dark now. Even if she's still attracted, she clearly lost some interest as she seemed to be friendzoning me the last 1-2 months, now goes completely cold despite telling ME she wanted to talk to me about some stuff (that was her response to me asking her on a date lol).

As long as I get closure I'd be cool with it and walk away. But I hate when I'm expected to read between the lines and walk away with a dark cloud over my head.

Shit's been stressing me out.
