Nope. Dug around a little. Looks nonprescription, basically a desensitization cream specialized for that region. Didn't find what it is chemically. Very expensive. Fraudulent? If it interests you first find what's in there and then look up studies in a med journal.

This type of product has been available at sex shops for many years. Most of them are a cream not a spray

It's just a topical anesthetic that numbs your dick somewhat.

Promescent is different from most other sprays and creams, supposedly, because of the way it is designed to penetrate beneath the surface of the skin. So it numbs the nerve endings but somehow still allows you to enjoy the pleasurable sensations of sex - something other sprays often mess up for you. I'm not sure how it does that exactly, but it gets pretty good reviews on the whole. There is a very thorough Promescent review here you might find useful.

70-80 bucks?!?! I mean im using xperform, which uses exactly the same active substance as promescent for quarter price! just LOL
