Had a dream about a girl last night whom I haven't seen for ages. Got me thinking if this can be used to reopen leads that have gone cold.

I'm a bit reluctant though because a girl I had a fling with a while back sent me the same email once and it seemed a bit desperate/transparent.

But I think it may pique their curiosity (what happened in the dream?) and it could have sexual overtones.

If they reply 'what happened?' you could reply something like 'I'd have to see you face to face to tell you that' or similar.

Any thoughts?

If the same text seemed desperate and transparent when you received it, it's probably going to sound that way when you send it.

Good question. I think you could reframe it a little bit to make it seem less revolving around her, like "I had the weirdest dream last night and you happened to be in it too".

Yea, saying you are dreaming about her indicates that she's on your mind which again may show neediness.

Yeah, I'd go with this over stating it was about her. Less neediness like lush1 said.

But the whole dream angle affords you the chance to say the most outlandish shit possible with little to no repercussions -- Dreams are supposed to be weird. So it's a nice time to insert some suggestive symbolism, even if you haven't banged her. Just remember the jumbotron test.

A woman in Peru that I've been in contact with for years confessed to me recently that she had a sexual dream about me. We've never met, but we write, webcam, etc. She's sent me gifts also. She asked if I'd had similar dreams, and I admitted I hadn't, but I can't remember the last time I had that kind of dream about any woman. Naturally, whenever I make it down to Lima her dream is going to get realized...

hell yes. then go on and on about the sandwich and what was in it. Ask her if she's ever made one like that. You do it in the right way and she'll be doubled over laughing.
