Thoughts? Seem this might be ripe for some players out there looking for that extra social proof boost. You could register a female facebook account and rate yourself very highly. That's some blackhat game shit.

This will be inaccurate as women who have been pumped and dumped will of course rank a man, in whatever category, as 1 out of 10 regardless of the truth.

This is only going to be used as a disqualifier. I doubt a high rating will push any girls in your direction, more likely you will get labeled a player. A bad rating will cause girls to automatically reject you.

yeah the incentive structure is broken.

girls will rate low any guy who upset them (even if a player and stud in bed) and they wont rate atall guys they want to keep.

Yeah there is little doubt that this will actually work as advertised-- whether any of the users realize that is another story. But girls really can't be trusted to give honest ratings and even if they do, it's impossible to know whether her experience with the man is representative and predictive. That is, whether he was a jerk because she was a bitch, whether he was lame in bed because she was fat and boring, whether they just happened to meet on a bad night.

Yelp reviews are bad enough and people there are typically making some effort to be fair. Imagine a yelp full of insane rationalization hamsters and deliberate, manipulative female deception and that's what this will be.

It really needs to have some kind of safety where girls can't go back and alter what they've said. Seriously though, I doubt these kind of websites/apps will actually take off. Might attract some attention from a certain demographic but I think it will peter out. I also don't think guys will stand around and look dumb if there is negative shit being written about them.
