Just come out of a long phase of ''older women'' anything from 3 to 10 years older than me...with an average of about 7-8 years older....

I am 28...

One thing I have learnt is that they DEPRESS me...they are over the hill and so frigging needy...there whole outlook on life seems to shrink...most of what they do to 'keep themselves looking good' is just going through the motions...

Women in their thirties are the worst! They either have kids already or have baby rabies. They've probably been pumped and dumped a lot or gone through a bitter divorce. And if they don't actually look like the back of a bus they get masses of interest from chodes in their 20's so they think their SMV is sky high.

Exactly. We tend to focus on the rapid downturn in a woman's looks but the attractiveness of her personality follows the same dramatic downward trajectory as her looks. OK, for one thing, I expatriated. It is almost certainly easier for someone my age to get interest from teenage girls in Japan than in western countries.

Here's the thing though: for a long time I didn't think they "saw" me either. But once I clocked up the first positive experience it got progressively easier. The main reason is that 80 percent of purchases are made by women. By pushing for them to be employed, not stay at home moms, media outlets assure their advertising bases will be shored up. If men were back in control, like in the 1950s, women's disposable income would NOT be going to buy the crap the media advertises. It would be going to savings.

Spending, not saving benefits medialand, which is driven by advertising and relies on a constant flow of consumer dollars. If women are cougars, they will NEVER be "stay at home moms" and thus will become lifelong consumers. And heads of households. More households = more consumer dollars.

This is a crucial issue, perhaps THE crucial reason as to why feminism gained such a foothold in the US. It benefits the people who run businesses. They got to double the labor pool and thereby reduce wages and got twice the consumers. The media HAS to go along with this or else it ends up like the Washington Times, having to be funded by a religious cult since big-time advertisers won't go near it.

Reporters and editors don't consciously go about assigning stories thinking "How can we push an agenda." But they do consciously try to please advertisers. And the gist of advertising is almost 100 percent female-oriented.

On top of this, the media attracts activists, not writers per se, so newspapers and magazines are often staffed by former women's studies majors and the like -- people who do, in fact, have an agenda. A poll taken a few years back showed something like 85 percent of reporters leaned democrat, and feminism goes part and parcel with that, needless to say.

In Australia when a child reaches 8 mothers no longer have the choice of being stay at home mothers. Recently a large number of women around 100,000 have been forced into part time work and had their benefits slashed. This is an example of how feminism has punished a lot of women.
