Advertising Gurus: Thoughts On The "Full Background" Ad?
I'm talking about like the ad they have on the background of okcupid right now:

These ads seem like they could be ridiculously effective, but I don't see that many of them.

Have their ever been any studies done on the effectiveness of these ads vs. banners/boxes?
