The "I had Cancer" sympathy Game
Ok Guys... For those of you who don't know I was diagnosed with Cancer around November of 2011 (Hodgkins-Lymphoma Stage 4). So I was in a hospital bed for approximately 6 months receiving high doses of real strong chemotherapy. During my time in the hospital and the vast amount of time in my hands I came across this forum and was introduced to game. I ordered Roosh's bang, Neil's "The Game, The "Mystery Method", and Tariq Nasheed's "The Art of Macking" and just read away. My first few approaches came from the cute nurses giving me chemotherapy as I was on my way to not only beating this cancer but becoming the man Ive always wanted to be. After 6 months I beat cancer and Ive been on a 10 month remission so far. My confidence is through the roof and had been successful for the most part with game.

Although I never used the "I had Cancer card" to get chicks, many of my friends keep telling me that im an idiot for not using it. They swear to me that if I use it ill get laid even more. I really disagree but my friends keep saying "Dude if I was you ill be using that to my advantage".

Basically my question is should I use it? or should I just continue to do what ive been doing all this time?

Would the "I had Cancer" sympathy approach work like it did in the movie 50/50.

Use it very, very sparingly.

And don't be too specific.

When conversing with a girl who seems interested, drop in the following line but almost as an afterthought:

"I had a very serious illness but I overcame it"

If she's interested in you, she'll ask about it. If she's not interested, she'll just brush it off and keep talking about handbags and girl-gossip.

READ MY BLOG, DAMMIT.

Sympathy game is tougher than it looks.

Start training hard at a sport if you are able to. Lance Armstrong game lol.

Cancer survivor turned Crossfit competitor sounds impressive, for example.

If a bird told me she had cancer it would put me off her unless she was insanely hot.

I have no reason or logic behind this, and for that very reason I would assume women are going to think the same.

First, congrats on beating cancer. That is awesome. Secondly, you want to get their pussy wet, not evoke some motherly instinct. I'm sorry to say your friends, if they are the average guys with average beliefs, are idiots when it comes to this. The only way I can see this helping is if you play it off like its no big deal to show how full of life you are.

Don't invoke sympathy. Invoke admiration.

You want to know the only thing you can assume about a broken down old man? It's that he's a survivor.

First off, congrats on beating your cancer, man. If you want to parlay it into game, you need to not use it for sympathy, but you need to use it as part of your storytelling of your strength and high value:

"Three years ago I was obese. Two years ago I beat cancer. A year ago I ran my first ultra marathon and last week I got accepted to Harvard Business School for my foodtruck franchise business selling Lithuanian fruit pancakes."

Something like that anyways. I have two very close people in my life who can say something along those lines, but mostly they stick to regular old game and don't bring up their bout with cancer - they don't really need to!

Sympathy and "Feeling sorry" are not attractive.

I wouldn't bring this up when you talk to girls. Maybe, later, when you have them, if they ask you can tell them what you got through. But it's not a game tactic. Just knowing all this in the back of your mind when you approach girls must be giving you confidence. You've been to the edge, and back.
