I thought it would be a good idea to start a thread where we can share websites that will help sort out the logistical issues of moving or living abroad. Even though I've been to over 30 countries (living in two of them) I still sometimes have a hard time digging up quality websites to look for a long-term place to stay or to research work opportunities.

Since I've worked as an English teacher I'll share some of the websites that have helped me out and guys can add to this list with their respective lines of work and countries that they know well. Mine is going to be Asian-oriented since that's where I've spent most of my time but it'd be cool to get a truly global resource datasheet going.

Obviously, this first list is lacking. Please add your own go to sites.

I was helping out someone with advice about finding a job in China and found this thread. What an amazing resource for people coming over to China and East Asia.

I found some jobs on that website that look legit. Good money, reasonable hours, good locations. Might be smoke and BS but worth finding out.

For others not looking for cash I saw many university jobs in places like Wuhan, Wuxi and other large cities. Those kind of jobs are 7k-10k a month for a few days a week of work, done before 4pm or 6pm. 7 week holidays in the winter and summer paid. Free housing.
