"Manosphere" Game
Back in the west for a bit, I went on a date with a borderline SecretInternetFattie last night. She was not really obsese but a good 10-15 pounds heavier than her photos suggested. Since I was hungry anyways I switched from coffeeshop to restaurant within 15 mins (not inviting her but saying I needed food and she could "tag along" if she wanted to). She did the predictable "where do you see yourself in 2 years" thing etc that most 25-29 year olds seem to throw at me these days. I figured I would just be honest and see what would happen. I mentioned getting my PhD part-time and spending time travelling in SE Asia (threw in Pattaya to provoke). The conversation moved on to life in general, gender roles, kids etc and I threw out a lot of my jaded views on western culture, engagement rings, working mothers etc etc. I figured I would get a nice, amusing hamster response (not really interested in a sdl due to her fattie deception so the gloves were off).
Surprisingly, she mostly agreed or said "I can see that", often asked questions because I kept my statements pretty short. I treated her like I would a colleague or a random stranger on a plane who I might never see again but who starts philosophical convos: no need for censorship and the person is not really important to me.
When the bill came she immediately threw in her part and I figured that was it, however, she wanted to "talk some more" on the way out and we ended up at her place, the rest was easy and more enjoyable than I had anticipated (turns out it was not that much "extra").
This was a woman who cleary looked for a long-term relationship so I thought I might have just gotten lucky and would never hear from her again. Got 2 txts this morning requesting to "talk some more" tonight or tomorrow. Any thoughts or similar experiences? Is she maybe one of those "convert the bad/ bitter guy" types?

My guess would be that it had more to do with your not-caring attitude, alongside the fact that she was a little thicker than her pictures. She saw you as considerably higher value guy, so you were "interesting" regardless of what you were saying. Kudos on the solid game.

You can say almost anything and spin it as tight game, because the right body language, voice inflection, and descriptive verbiage creates an attractive persona that doesn't need to say anything fancy.

After spending a few months in SE Asia, you develop a different personality and vibe. You can't treat anybody on a pedestal. And that attitude shows.

Props.
