Pedro here. Pretty young chap and is preparing to do some backpacking with the boys this and next year.

First stop, Netherlands - Amsterdam & Rotterdam:

Now, I remember reading somewhere on the Latin America threads, that Netherlands was "Exotic" for African American or other Black guys. I beg to differ, There is a large portion of Black and mulatto guys out there, so the uniqueness isn't valid.

These aren't African American or British speaking Blacks, they're from countries like; Suriname, Cape Verde, Aruba and Lesser Antilles islands who speak Dutch.

Rotterdam Festival - Zomercarnaval:

If anyones ever been here, it is like a mini Rio carnival. the women look similiar to Brazilian women and they're HARD-TO-CRACK! My report from going over there twice, sadly, isn't too good. Me and my bro's tend to pick up in "our" backgrounds (Mulattoe women) You now, those curly hair, thick red bones with the ocean blue or green eyes!

Yet they're hard-to-approach, I advise anyone to speak a little Dutch. You're style of dress and grooming must be that of European to at least "fit in" to Pick Up. It isn't baggy clothing or nada! Its rigged, fitted designer clothing!

Rotterdam is Europe's best-kept secret for outstanding women! Who has been to Zomercarnaval? I've never kicked it with any US guys, alot of British and Caribbeans travel over there just for the 3 days of fun!

I'm not into the Netherlands at all, precisely because every pothead and backpacker heads there on their "Euro tour."

I prefer the unknown, unexplored, under-reported, undiscovered jewel in the rough...although this is becoming harder to find with the Internet, jet travel, and globalization.

Fuck..I just missed the carnival in Rotterdam, i thought it was in July, i just saw the dates.

I am looking to go to Rotterdam soon. Anybody know any local websites where i can rent rooms? Airbnb always ends up being more expensive.
