Not only is she misrepresenting how ineffective artifical insemination is, she admits how all this egg freezing is therapy for her. Per usual, the aging hamster needs some serious stroking to calm down. Taking control of her fertility via egg freezing = her coming to terms that all that is left is betas. All that talk of gaining confidence, creating beta-spreadsheets is just women coming to grips with the fact her hypergamy will not be satisfied through reproduction.

She admits that women spend their prime baby-making years in school and "in the trenches." Of course, the problem isn't the choices that women make - it's that pesky patriarchal biology.

Go ahead ladies, wait till you are 45 or 50 to breed. There is a good chance you may see your child graduate college and if they wait to reproduce like you, you will never see your grandkids. Enjoy that decline, bitches.

Women are setting their own booby trap. Because of course there won't be many men at the other end when they decide to defrost their Crypo-yolks, but what do they care after earning large amount of money they will simply pay for the sperm too.

Ladies also don't get that the process essentially is a almost a Scarlett letter to their natural reproduction as females whom do this typically when still young, healthy and with sizeable bank-roll. (mid/late 20s-mid-30's) they have to go through a process in which hormones and medication essential tricks their bodies to pump out more of those precious eggs at once. So essentially she is robbing her natural storage way sooner and damaging the natural process also which makes her dependent on the eggs, and the storage of those eggs which can cost anywhere from $600-$1300 per year. Oh when your 42 and want those eggs to use? Pay up another $5-10,000 for them to be thawed and prepared for you. What's even more funny that at 42 you still pretty much have the same odds at artificial conception as you would if you did it naturally, the only benefit is you get healthy eggs from your prime years to use but your still rolling the dice with a 40% success rate lol:



Women continue to drink the kool-aid of oligarch funded feminism which deludes them from logic. It would of been great to tell Lebron James to quit basketball at 20 years old to go become a teacher with the specific intent of coming back to play basketball when he is 40. I know on here we like to hate on women for divorcing their husbands and not having kids until late and freezing eggs, etc, etc. And it's easy to hate, because many on here have been victims of some bitch leaving us or grabbing child support money, but...

It's not an individual woman's fault that after nature gave her way way way higher inherent value in her sexuality and ability to create and raise our offspring, society has since given her everything that a man used to provide: high income, security and protection, food supply, navigation abilities, constant social support, etc.

I always look at it as a societal shame rather than it's all women's fault.

Danica is a great example. Ambitious, courageous (she dropped out of highs school at 16 to move to England to race), successful businesswoman, blah blah blah. Did her looks give her a leg up in the racing world? I have no idea, but I wouldn't doubt it. Did it give her a leg up in business? No doubt. Can you blame her for being successful? No. She's just playing the hand she was dealt. Did she *need* her ex-husband? No, but it's not her fault she didn't have those needs that have held together relationships for thousands of years.

She froze her eggs. It's a shame she had to. It's gross. It's not natural. But I don't blame her.

But bookmark this among other examples when confronted by (usually) younger people as to how much women are here to make babies.

There was already a thread on this years ago. I remember, because I'll make the same comment now I made then.

These women likely won't find men when they decide to un-freeze those eggs (as Kosko notes above). But the unintended effect will be much worse: Most men will start to run away when they learn they're dating a woman with frozen eggs.

Think about that. You go out on a few dates and she tells you she has frozen eggs waiting to be thawed. I can't imagine a situation where a man would feel under more pressure and feel less romantic. This is more like a job interview than a date, except with this job you're the one who is going to be paying out.

The eggs aren't just eggs. They're a symbol of a lot of other things about the woman (poor planning, controlling personality), most of which are profoundly negative for men. It's like body odor or massive credit card debt. Those aren't the real problems. The real problems are that they signify deeper problems with the person.

I'm baffled by how women could do this and not see there's a bigger connotation there. Then again, this is a society that teaches women to backwards values, so I guess it makes sense.

A major news story about this just broke today.

Several media outlets came out with articles stating that the success of egg freezing is not good. They say "the industry" knew this but didn't let women know this in advance.

The article centers around Brigitte Adams, who was in her late 30s when she appeared on the cover of Bloomberg Businessweek (below) for a story that touted the benefits of egg freezing.



Four years and $19,000 later, Brigitte is still as barren as the Mojave Desert in the dead of summer. Eleven of her frozen eggs "failed," so she's run back to the newsmedia about it. (This woman was probably the one 2Wycked quoted above in his original post, but I can't tell because the original Wall Street Journal link he provided is not working -- typical newsmedia ineptitude.)

TV Newser, the most unbiased source I could find, quotes a fertility specialist as calling the previous media cheerleading on this "total fiction." That article is headlined "One-Time Face of Women Freezing Eggs Now Has Warning."

This is going to have major, major ramifications for women. Unless there are some bigtime advances in technology soon, women won't be able to fall back on this if they want kids. Saw a British TV show recently, that dealt with all manner of subject matter relating to female fertility, female aging, IVF, surrogates, etc. etc.
The amount of carefully worded language & mental gymnastics that was on display due to their reluctance to accept the reality of fragile female fertility*, was rather amusing.

At the heart of all this, is the juvenile belief that an individual chick (from her own perspective) will be guaranteed kids.

Never mind that life does not owe anyone jack shite.

What careers do these people have that are that great? That's one thing that blows my mind about the whole "careers" mindset. MOST people by definition have a shit or at least mediocre career. Do they actually enjoy it that much? You want to check emails 8 hours a day that much that you would rather do it than have kids. That much that you want to check emails at home rather than have kids. Oh and check emails at the weekend.

LOL! These "careers" have long been laughingstocks in the manosphere. I remember Roosh making jokes about them a decade ago.

It would be funny to get together a list of ridiculous jobs that only women seem to do and what those jobs really entail:

Social media director = posts on Facebook
Director of "digital strategy" = holds meetings about posting on Facebook

And they all have one thing in common, and that is they have internalized that their career (or to be more accurate, their sense of self importance) increases their SMV in the same way it does for a man. The sooner they learn that this is a lie that feminism has sold them, the better.

It probably does increase their sense of self importance, but as you say point 1) life isn't "fair".

Further to Days of Broken Arrows point the main occupation for women is basically secretary. Sorry I couldn't find a better source than this but I have read the same elsewhere before.

So despite gurrrl power, basically in today's society most women are basically a secretary. Checking emails and looking at the occasional spread sheet.

Now I haven't been in an office for years, but I did a project, interior alterations on an office recently and it really blew my mind how little work and how much talking these women actually do. It's funny when you are busting your balls at warp speed to get a job done and these people have a routine where essentially they probably do an hour to 2 hours of actual work a day, IF that. Amazing. And you're forgoing children for that. For buying shitty coffee and lunch.

Yep it comes as a big consolation that in 2010 men stopped making things and women started administering "things". What these things are remains to be seen. I mean it just blows my mind. Manufacturing and construction in decline but more women are in admin jobs. To what end exactly?? The ministry of hurt feelings requires high staffing levels I guess. Men being out of work is something to draw succour from though eh.

Women in societies in which feminism isn't such a strong presence, like Japan, also have an epidemic of women waiting so long to get married that they lose the opportunity to have children. I think when we wonder why a woman would give up children for a non-fulfilling career that we're projecting a little. Who says women want a fulfilling job or whether their definition of what constitutes a fulfilling job is the same as ours (men's)? I suspect that, for women, providing their own provisioning so that they can party, travel, access social media, eat out, and partake of multimedia entertainment is as much fulfillment as most of them desire.

They appear to be surprised when they're 35 years old and realize that they want to have children, but it had never really crossed their minds before that it would be of such importance to them someday. No one told them that their biologically-instilled essence would one day wake them up to the fact that children are their key to finding a meaning in life.

Even in a country like Japan, which doesn't follow political correctness near as strictly as the rest of the West, there is no way that anyone in authority or in education could tell women, "You need to have children to be happy." It's up to their parents, and they apparently aren't doing it.

If you like that then you'll love this article. Basically some study in Australia removed all information from resumes for public service roles that could reveal the applicant's gender or ethnicity, believing that it would prevent discrimination against women and minority candidates. But the experiment had the opposite effect and actually decreased the likelihood of women and minorities getting interviews, indicating that white males were actually the ones being discriminated against prior to the "blind resume" initiative. The conclusion of the study? The "blind resume" practice should be stopped so that we can go back to discriminating against white males. But not in those words of course.

The Washington Post just did a follow-up on all of this. Heartiste has an excellent post about it.

Turns out that the woman from the above magazine cover who froze her eggs, Brigitte Adams, is now pregnant and due in May. After the many failed attempts (see above) she ended up pregnant by using both donor eggs and donor sperm. She's now 46.

Even the Washington Post's liberal readers are like "WTF?" in the story's comments section. It's not just a matter of the donor eggs and sperm -- weird as they are. She'll be a first-time mother in her late forties. Kids are hard enough in your twenties and thirties.

As I mentioned earlier in this thread (or somewhere on here), my mother was 46 when I graduated college. During my college years, I tried her patience quite a bit, so I wonder what it will be like to have a mother who is 64 when you go off to college.

That is, if you even make it to college. If you look on the Web, there are stories of kids like this who spend their teen years caring for mothers who are the age of grandmoms. Also, here is a fun story SOMEONE should have read: "World's Oldest Mom Dies, Leaving Two Toddlers."
