Will be in Miami starting Sunday or Mon May 19/20, possibly through Memorial Day if i'm having a good time. In the datasheets, it says that getting into places (at least in South Beach) is pretty darn difficult without girls.


I'd like to hit the Brickelll scene hard, and a little bit of the South Beach scene and the full-on latin scene (bachata, merengue places) and possibly the Design District.

I'd like to hit the best places on the best nights so i get a good taste of everything Miami has to offer. I'm driving, so i'm debating whether i should spend a day or two in Tampa/Sarasota on the way back. Any Tampa/Sarasota data would be much appreciated, as would Orlando (where I'll be on business the week before).

How dead are Miami venues Monday-Wed? Which venues are good on which nights? On the Brickell data sheet, how hopping are places like Segafredo's on weeknights and is it difficult to get in?

I'd really like to hit the (mostly) local scene, a few of great places and a few of the good places in SoBe. Interesting restaurant recs would help too. Thanks.

You should ask your questions in any one of the multiple Miami threads, as many of these questions have been covered.

This isn't really "new thread worthy" as you are essentially asking the same questions that many people have asked before you.

Also, El Mech I think has busted out countless info on Tampa.

Thanks. BTW, i'm googling the address for Bully's and New Cafe and can't find any information. Only a News Cafe, which i know is in SoBe.

If you want to get a good idea of the quality of talent in Brickell, go on a weekend. During the early part of the week not too many people go out because there are a lot of working professionals.

Tuesday night research: You might find a couple girls to approach on a Tuesday night in Blue Martini. Beyond that the neighborhood is dead.

Tuesday night at Blue Martini Brickell is karaoke night. After the contest, which usually ends around 12:30, a DJ comes on and starts playing shit that makes you exit stage left.

Talent level is usually pretty low.

You won't find "Bully" because that is what locals call it. Its official name is L'Boulevard Cafe. Best nights for latin music are Wednesday and Saturday.

New Cafe, another local name, is officially called New Coffee Drink, and it is off NW 21st St. and NW 21st Ave. Best nights are Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. It's packed on Saturday and Sunday. Batting Cage took away a lot of their Friday traffic, but honestly you have a better shot at pulling on a Friday because the crowd is more intimate.

Just so you come in with your eyes wide open, Allapattah (AP) where Bully, New Cafe, etc. are located, is in the hood. Your experience will be full of cute hoodrats, bangin' music at places you can just party your ass off and have a great time. One time at Bully, I was faded beyond belief and ended up hooking up with a pregnant Puerto Rican stripper from KOD.
