Alaska State Fair summer 2013
Anyone ever been? I got a buddy who is going and wants me to tag along. Is it worth the $500 plane ticket when I would only be staying for about a week?

State fairs are all the same in many ways, just with local variations. I think if you're going to hang out, see Alaska wilderness and wildlife, fish, and generally chill, it might be worth it. Certainly not for women.
