Where in Europe to get my CELTA?
So I was waiting until the last minute to make the call on whether or not to get my CELTA (English teaching cert) and make the move to Europe. That time has come and my initial strategy won't work. I was planning to get it in Moscow, but that class is FULL Confused. On to plan B. I have to figure out exactly which cities are offering it in the time that I need it, but generally here are some spots that could be available:

Kiev
Wroclaw
Krakow
Budapest
Minsk
Prague
Malta
Ljubljana
Bratislava
Sevastopol
(Unfortunately Bucharest isn't an option, that'd be my #1 pick)

Putting cost aside for now...and assuming that I can apply for jobs back in Moscow or wherever I want after completing the course, where would be a good place to spend about 5 weeks in July-Aug? It's a pretty intensive course so I won't be going out everynight, but it's WAY cheaper in most of these cities than it is here in the U.S. (Wroclaw: $1400 vs. Atlanta: $2700)...so I figured regardless of my end destination, I may as well post up in a European city to take the course.

I'll also be pouring through the data sheets this week.

I'm initially leaning towards Wroclaw, for both timing and cost reasons.

I've seen a ton of data on Wroclaw and I don't think I could go wrong living here for 4-6+ weeks. Then either stick around or push off to Russia.

Still lots of research to do though. It's looking like the location will be largely restricted by timing of their class.

I'm actually thinking about doing the CELTA in Krakow or Wroclaw, but may end up taking a masters program in either. Still figuring it out, but definitely planning on being out there by the end of the year.

Poland seems good ,since you're going to be studying hard it's good that there's good food available and pleasant low-key women. It seemed that "everything works" there, different than Ukraine IMO; I don't know Minsk at all but probably harder to obtain foods that are familiar.
