Overconfident pro pundits saw a 17% increase in Twitter followers, while accurate pros saw a 3.4% increase.

For amateurs confidence beat accuracy 20% to 7.3%.

I find in life that you get away with a lot as long as you appear confident in doing so. Nothing that any of us don't already know.

Yeap. Same thing happens in finance and pretty much everywhere else in life, the loudest, most confident types are the ones we listen to, even if they're wrong.
