Your approach doesn't have to be perfect. A shitty opener or comment is better than none.

Phone numbers are bullshit. A brief time commitment is everything.
Operating in a target rich environment is king. There are only a handful of places in any given city which will have enough girls regularly replenishing. Big outdoor shopping centers, subway hubs, etc.
Don't bother with fast walkers. Usually a waste of time & energy.
Express specific interest within 2 minutes. ie. "Honestly, I noticed you. Thought you were way too cute. I had to meet you".
Ask for the insta-date.
Overcome her objections.
Sit down with her somewhere. Anywhere.
Talk it out. Touch her. Bounce her to another location. Bring her to your house.

Night game
Leave the house early for lowest bitch shields.
If a venue sucks, don't stay there.
For best results, match the energy of the venue you are in.
Try going out sober sometimes. Say you don't drink. Girls will be fascinated. Your liver & wallet will thank you.

Online
Put up pictures of you looking away from the camera.
Open with a brief, sincere physical compliment.
Follow up with a few statements and a question.
3rd email give her your phone number, but tell her she can give you hers if she prefers to be the girl.

Phone game
Don't txt unless she initiates. Always lead with a phone call.
Leave a brief voice message. "hi hb, it's courage...sorry I missed you. Will try you later."
90% she will txt back "what's up?".
txt her specific plans for a very special date that same night. Make it detailed. Paint a picture. ie. "do you like the starlight lounge? Gorgeous view tonight. I think you'd love it. Provided, you have a cute outfit..."
If she's not down, decide yes or no if she is worth weeks of txt effort to get out in person. If yes, long game txt until you get logistics. If no, hail mary, txt her you are leaving the country, and want to move heaven and earth to see her that night or you'll never forgive yourself.

Depends on your voice and phone game I'd say. I gave into this trend of only texting with no capitalization and mistaken grammar be damned with mixed results.

I believe leaving the voicemail with:

"hey its T, I'll get back to you soon"

I used to do this and got better results overall. I'd say a mix of these messages and extremely concise and decisive texting could be best.

This is what I used to do and would get a text back or more rarely a call instead within 20 min, if the girl is interested. Using only texting I have created less attraction. I'd even say a short fun 5 minute phone conversation can build a lasting attraction for the next week or two. Any girl I have held in a harem rotation for more than a few weeks I have had to have short phone calls with between meets. I also think they get turned on more and are more primed for good sex. I think sexting is even one step better, but for me sexting is more effort and feels phony than a 5 minute phone call.

I have had several girls comment on getting turned on by the sound of my voice.

I think it is a subconscious reminder to the girl of your presence and can stick better than a text.

It really doesn't matter if she picks up or not, it only matters that when she doesn't you use an extremely brief, vague message with presence. I have a deep voice though so it may work better for me.

This is the biggest tip. To be real, the majority of lays will come with girls who you immediately attract or at most within the first minute have some chemistry with. You can tell by looking at her eyes and if she's given you her full attention.

Much of game is about not fucking up and squandering the attraction you already have. Only a small minority will be with girls who were neutral for an appreciable amount of time and hardly any will be with chicks who disliked you at the onset. Start gabbing, good things will happen. Two girls who are of the same attractiveness and who look similar in all significant respects can respond in diametrically opposing ways to whatever you say. The only way you'll find out is if you open your mouth. The most basic of game lessons but the most important.
